About the home

Glynllifon, “The house in the valley where the stream flows”. The house is set in its own grounds and is on the main Abersoch Road. It is approached via a long driveway, passing ponds, a putting green, lined with mature trees encompassing a 150 yard front garden and a large back garden both ideal for al fresco dining/ barbeques. A patio area with outdoor seating and heating. A natural stream runs along the wall and meanders its ways from one pond onto the next before it finds its way to the sea.

The house has been totally refurbished to a very high spec and has been available to rent to families from 27 May 2011. It can accommodate upto 13 people with a luxury large whirlpool bath with a further 3 shower rooms. The beach is just a mile away and different walks for the rambles. There is plenty to do during your holiday - local activities include golf, paint ball, go karts, sailing and lots more. There are plenty of good restaurants within a 5 mile radius.

The property is available to families only and no pets or animals are allowed inside the house or outside in the grounds. No caravans are permitted to be parked in the grounds at any time.
Minimum let is 1 week
There is a non refundable deposit of £500 payable at the time of making the booking, the balance is payable 60 days prior to the commnecement of the holiday rental, with a secuirty deposit of £500, this security is refunded with 7 days of your departure.

We accept Debit Cards at no charge, Credit Cards carry a nominal 2% charge

The house is available for weekly lets to families only. No pets are allowed in the house or outside in the grounds. Totally non smoking, No caravans are permitted to be parked at any time in the grounds

The Llyn penisular especially the Abersoch area has its own micro climate. It is a very popular seaside resort with thousands of visitors during the summer months. Over the years it has become an all year resort. Wakestock Music Festival has been held in area for the last few years. A day trip to the summit of Snowdon is a must. The steam railways are a must - www.greatlittletrainsofwales.co.uk. Bala White Water Rafing is about 45 mins away so is Angelesy a wonderful place to go for the day.

Recently the area is developing to an all year resort. Wakestock Music Festival has been held in area for the last few years. The nearest town is Pwllheli with an Asda and the Leisure Centre where you can enjoy the facilites of tennis, swimming pool squash etc. There are plenty of beaches nearby, Llanbedrog and Warren beaches are a mile and two from the house. This area is renowed for its golf course - Abersoch, Nefyn and Pwllheli. For the kids - Go Karts Paint Balling Horse riding etc

The easiest way to the house is by car and it is situated on the main A499, continue through Llanbedrog village on the Abersoch road, the house is on the left at a sharp bend. At this bend slow down as the entrance is on the left approx. 200 yards further down.

“Everything we needed in one place” For a group of friends or family this is a great retreat. The Budha Bar is great as too is the addition of the pool table. All rooms are clean and spacious and the outside area is great for those long summer evenings. If you are looking for a family orientated location this is a must. the walk along the beach starts on the doorstep and is amazing. Thanks go to Jitty and Rita.

“Everything we could have asked for and more” We have just spent a weekend away with the family at this loverly house just outside Abersoch. The facilities in this house are excellent. We were celebrating my Father's 70th Birthday therefore this was a special occasion. From BBQ, Pool table, Jacuzzi, TV's everywhere, a loverly garden and patio area we all had lots to do and enjoyed it so much. My Wife, Children and I went into Abersoch on the Saturday for a Coffee however we couldn't get the other family members to leave the house. This is the first time we have done a weekend like this as a larger family and would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is thinking of doing something special. We had everything we could have asked for and more!!

“Good quality big and comfortable house” The house had everything we needed. Very spacious and very clean, comfortable beds and good quality bed-lined and towels. Big fridge and freezer. Lots of outdoor space and great BBQ. Putting green is a lot of fun, but you need plenty of balls since it is adjacent to the pools! Seperate bar area is great and we enjoyed the pool table.

“Perfect !” We stayed at Glynllifon with our group of golfers and loved the place. It is very well located , close to the golfclubs we wanted to play. The house has everything you can think of. Several good restaurants , 5 minutes drive.. The men, or should I say "boys" loved the pool table...It has a wonderful garden, but the weather was not that good, so we weren't able to enjoy it... We would for sure recommend this house to a friend...

“BEAUTIFULL HOUSE” this is one of the best places we have stayed. the house waz perfect it had everything we wanted. the garden was the biggest asset for us where we had loadz of fun & perfect of little kids to it has ample space for every1. definetly would recommend to every1:) the only thing i could think of waz it had a pond instead of that a swimingpool would have been great but thats just me bieng greedy lol

“An excellent experience in every regard!” Glynllifon is beautiful house. It is very comfortable and spacious and definitely the best equipped holiday let I have come across. The owners were very helpful and efficient and the house spotlessly clean. The surrounding area is wonderful and we were particularly fond of the nearby beach.

“A fantastic house, well equipped and excellent information pack” I would thoroughly recommend this house. It is well equipped throughout with a fantastic garden for kids and big kids alike! It is out of the village but still within walking distance of the pub - unusual in our many years of renting this size of house.
