Abergele

Our cottages are located in the courtyard of our family farm and have all been converted from an original stone granary which dates back to the mid 1700's. The cottages stand at the head of a private driveway off a quite country lane with private parking on site for guests.

Pen y Bryn Farm has been our family home for over 15 years and we have been letting our cottages out since we first came here in the 1990's. Pen Y Bryn is no longer a working farm but it is used by a local farmer to graze his sheep. We have around a mile of pathways on the property for guests to enjoy at your leisure and a traditional duck pond in the farmyard which makes a perfect picnic spot. We also have a dedicated wildlife area with fishing ponds on site which guests are welcome to use free of charge (bait and rods not available n site)

Pen Y Bryn farm is a 25 acre farm based in Betws Yn Rhos, a small parish town just 3 miles inland from the market town of Abergele. We are just 3.5 miles inland from A55 Junction 24 which provides easy access to North Wales and Chester.

There are a number of activities very close by including fishing (on site and locally), golf (minutes walk) and paint balling (5 minute drive). We are just a few minutes drive from Bodelwyddan Castle, which is host to a number of fairs and events throughout the year. Abergele & Pensarn train station is just 10 minutes drive and is located on the sea front at Pensarn which is very popular with visitors to the area. There is a dedicated cycle track which runs through Abergele and Pensarn allowing you to cycle all the way over to Rhyl or Llandudno via Colwyn bay and take in the stunning coastal views.
