With stunning views across the valley, the Black Mountains and Beacon Beacons this light and airy cottage is the ideal romantic setting or also a perfect place for a small family break. The cottage has the great feeling of being away from it all, while at the same time having excellent access to nearby towns and attractions.
Open plan lounge and diner with diner table seating for 6. Large Comfy sofa with 2 relaxing chairs. Large selection of books and visitor information. TV, with Sky Freeview, dvd, radio and cd player. Sofa can be made into bed if required.
Modern kitchen with fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, electric hot, microwave and fan oven.
Bathroom with double sized shower unit with basin and wc.
Master bedroom with double bed and further sofa bed. 2 large skylights with stunning views across the valley and farm land. This large room has plenty of space for a cot if required.
The cottage is set within 2 acres of garden that include an orchard, flower garden and large paddock including a large enclosed space. There is also a private patio area with bbq and bench.
Welcome pack on arrival includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk and welsh cakes or biscuits.
High chair, travel cot and cot bed available(please request when booking). Please bring your own bed linen for the cot.

The Powys/Brecon Beacons region
This lovely detached holiday cottage near Abergavenny is set within 2.5 acres of land that is shared with the main house that is about 100 yards away. The closest pub, bus route and shop are only a short walk away within the village of Pandy. Located along Offa's Dyke the market town of Abergavenny is 7 miles away in one direction while Hereford is 12 miles in the other.
Abergavenny, the aptly named 'Gateway to Wales' is nestled in the nearby hills and has something for everyone. With its many indoor and outdoor markets, magnificent castle and museums this medieval market town is sure to delight any visitor. No matter what time of year, this wonderful little village has something in the area to suit all tastes and budgets. Abergavenny railway station provides a direct trains to Cardiff (40 mins) and Manchester. The main bus route from Hereford to Abergavenny is only a few minutes away giving the cottage excellent public transport links.
There are many attractions nearby including the Skirrid Inn , known as Wales' oldest pub, numerous restaurants including The Walnut Tree and The Hardwick. For families there are many outdoor attractions but also for the odd rainy day there is a also a Soft Play Centre and Leisure Centre with a Swimming pool in Abergavenny
Llangorse Lake offer a wide range of watersports including Canoing, sailing dinghies, rowing boats, pedaloes and water- skiing. Hired from the lakeside, 13 miles.
Spectacular walks can be found in the Beacons National Park, Black Mountains, Llanthony Valley and along Offa's Dyke. 1 mile.
Permits and day tickets are available for the superb wild brown trout, salmon and sea trout (sewin) fishing on the river Usk. 6 miles
Course fishing - Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. 5 miles
The Monmouthshire, Belmont and Werndu Golf Clubs are nearby. The closest is the Monmouthshire and is 3 miles away.
Local trails and country routes including (NCN Route 42 the Celtic trail ) from Abergavenny to Hay. 4.0miles
