Comfortable and spacious recently converted barn in the grounds of a former vicarage. Great location between Abergavenny and Monmouth and on the border of the Brecon Beacons, The Celtic Manor (home of the Ryder Cup 2010) and the Wye Valley.

The Barn provides accommodation for four people with two bedrooms -one double, one twin. Great for families, with fabulous views, flat screen Freesat TV, DVD, WiFi, board games, books and games table. We also offer facilities for walkers and cyclists with safe storage for bikes. Grass tennis and badminton courts are available for our guests, we have rackets you are welcome to borrow.

The barn has been lovingly converted with attention to detail.

The open plan living area has Oak floorboards and three beams and a double height ceiling.

The bedding is high thread count white Egyptian cotton with feather duvets and several of our visitors have commented on how comfortable the thick mattresses are!

Limestone flooring in the bathroom and a wonderfully powerful shower.

Ipod docking system for your music, WiFi, Satellite TV,DVD and a selection of films.

The laundry room on the ground floor has a washing machine and tumble dryer and a games table (table football, pingpong etc)

There is also a BBQ with charcoal and two loungers.

The garden is enclosed and has an outside table and two benches

The Powys/Brecon Beacons region

As the Gateway to Wales, the area is surrounded by beautiful mountains and countryside.

To the West are the Brecon Beacons with magnificent walks and to the East the Wye Valley with river attractions and attractions such as Tintern Abbey.

Abergavenny

Abergavenny is a traditional market town known for its annual Food Festival each September and for its excellent local restaurants such the The Walnut Tree and celebrity chef Stephen Terry's The Hardwick... which is 5 minute drive away.

Local attractions include the excellent Big Pit where you take a trip down a welsh coal mine or climb the magnificent hills that surround the town. Hay-on- Wye well known for its literary festival is within easy driving distance.
