Inverinain Lodge
About the home
Inverinain is exceptionally private - a mile down a track (4x4 required in winter) and from the nearest public road. The lodge is on the edge of a wood of mature trees and a highland burn, and looks out onto fields, the river lyon, and the hills beyond.
This is a place to enjoy one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland, and yet it is only 1 1/2 hours from Edinburgh and within a few miles of many things to do.

Check in: from 3.00pm. Check out: by 10.00am.
Directions:
1) From Edinburgh airport and the south, aim for the Forth Road Bridge and then the M90 (easy sign-posts from the airport) then take the A9 towards Inverness.
2) Exit off the A9 north of Perth at Ballinluig and head west to Aberfeldy along the A827.
3) Before leaving Aberfeldy turn right at the cross roads onto the B846.
4) Head through Weem, past Dull, and a couple of miles later turn left at Coshieville towards Fortingall (signposted).
5) Go through Fortingall and turn right after 300 yards into Glen Lyon (signposted).
6) The lodge is c.6 miles along Glen Lyon. Just as you enter Invervar, you will see a red telephone box on the left: just before that you will see a turning to the left with a gate saying Dericambus and Inverinain. Follow that track over the river and follow signs to the right to Inverinain. You might have to go through a closed gate (in which case please close it behind you) and the track then leads west along the south side of the glen, over another cattle grid, with the river to your right. The first (and only) house you will find is several hundred yards along, adjacent to the track on the right hand side.
Driving or flying? Allow 1 ½ -2 hours from Edinburgh depending on conditions.
