"Excellent accommodation in stunning surroundings"

6 of us and the dog stayed in Lochside Lodge for 3 nights in April. The Lodge is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the views from the huge lounge windows are absolutely fantastic - mountains, a small lochan with plenty of birds and a hill nearby dotted with deer. We used this as a base to visit nearby Loch Tay and Kinloch Rannoch. Weather was mixed for our weekend but can imagine it would be amazing in the summer.
Booking was simple and Stephen couldn't have been more helpful.
Would definitely recommend and hope we can return soon.

"Perfect"

We have stayed at Lochside Lodge twice now and both times it has been great!

The first time we went for a quiet weekend away and loved it so much that we booked for a full week here when my fiancé was taking part in the Etape Caledonia. For any cyclists out there, this is a great spot for the event as not only is it on the route, its also handy enough for getting to the start and finish line for anyone who is taking part.

We have stayed in a few lodges in our time but none have compared to this one. The furnishings are of a very high quality and we found the underfloor heating to be fab!

Although there are a few lodges surrounding this one, we didn't see or hear another person the whole time we were there so you really do get the feeling of privacy if that is what you are going for.

The lodge is a 5 minute drive from Schiehallion which is a great Munro to climb – we have done it both time we stayed at the lodge.

We found the owners to be a great help for any questions we had and we would certainly recommend Lochside Lodge! Even after two visits I can safely say we still haven't got bored of the place and will certainly be returning again

"Beautiful lodge, stunning views and a great location."

Highly recommended. Scrupulously clean, tastefully decorated in Scottish style this lodge was a great find. Great restaurants nearby and loads to do, you'll never get bored, whether your relaxing and admiring the view of Schiehallion from the decking or out on the tourist trail this is an excellent base for anyone thinking of visiting the beautiful Scottish highlands. I'll be back!

"Fantastic,!"

It was our first time at Lochside Lodge. We took our Springer Spaniel with us for a holiday.
The lodge is amazing. It is huge and really beautiful. There is plenty of room inside and it is really well equipped.
It is in a lovely secluded area with afew other log cabins on site and a deer park just across the lake in front of the lodge. It is ideal for a peaceful holiday, but is still within easy reach of Pitlochry and other towns and villages.
We would definitely recommend a visit to Lochside Lodge. It was great for walking our dog and we will hopefully be returning in the near future..

"Beautiful lodge in a lovely location."

This was our fourth stay at Lochside Lodge in as many years and each time has been thoroughly enjoyable and I would highly recommended it.
The lodge is absolutely beautiful with excellent facilities and we particularly like that each of the 3 bedrooms has ensuite facilities - it just adds a touch of luxury as well as privacy when travelling with friends or extended family. The main living area is open plan and therefore very spacious so even if there are 6 adults it does not seem crowded in any way. The underfloor heating keeps you cosy but in summer there's a lovely deck overlooking the lochan - nice for a BBQ & glass of wine!
The lodge is in a very peaceful location and we like to watch the deer on the nearby hillside although we couldn't walk there at this time of year as it's rutting season. However the stag is an impressive sight.
The lodge is close to Schehallion and Ben Lawers for those wanting to walk and there are plenty things for tourists with Scottish Crannog Centre, Blair Castle, Pitlochry Theatre, Queens View, Killiecrankie and The Hermitage etc all within a short travelling distance.
A brilliant place to stay and we will definitely return.

"big, beautiful, solid lodge with relaxing lovely scenery with views of wildlife on deer park"

my husband and I stayed in the lodge with friends for a week, i was pleasantly surprised at the size of the lodge, each bed room with its own bathroom, the lounge /kitchen had large windows which overlooked the small loch where the 2 dozen or so reindeer, sheep and goats resided there each day, the lodge had a large patio, great pubs a short car drive away for meals and small villages to visit, ideal for a relaxing holiday with great walks/fishing

"Great Birthday Weekend"

We stayed at the lochside lodge for my mums 50th birthday for 3 nights. The lodge is the most beautifully decorated lodge I've been in to date with its stunning wood and dear theme. A very well equipped lodge and the bedrooms were lovely and spacious. Having binoculars provided to look onto the deer park across the loch was a fantastic addition and they were well used.
My only faults of this stay was the second bedrooms heating wasn't working so my brother had to sleep on the couch as it was too cold to sleep in. Also, could do with an updated tv system for the rainy days at the lodge.
