The Aberfeldy area
Aberfeldy is a cute highland town with lots to do on the doorstep.
Loch Tay is only 5 miles away with all its water sports and crannog center well worth a visit. There is white water rafting from Aberfeldy.
The Birks of Aberfeldy is a lovely walk to a waterfall.
Don't miss the watermill in town.
There is also an excellent butcher famous for there steak pies, a great fish and chip shop in the square and an award winning Indian restaurant.
There are 2 castles 5 mins away and Ben Lawers and other Bens within 20 mins drive.
Across the road there are lovely river walks and a golf course.
There is off street parking and the house is set back from the road.
There is a tourist information center in Aberfeldy where you can access more information about the area. Dont miss Pitlochry another Highland town 10 miles away. It has a damn and fish ladder. It also has a historic walk to 'The Soldier's Leap' at Killicrankie.
There is also great pony trekking from Fearnan.
The Fortingal Yew is the oldest yew tree in southern Europe dating back some 2000 years
