The Perth and Kinross region

Highland Perthshire boasts some of the most stunning scenery in the U.K. and this accommodation will not disappoint!

The temperatures in this area can reach into the high twenties in mid summer which lends itself to those lazy days on the balcony. It is Scotland however, and cannot therefore guarantee the weather, so why not go sightseeing to the various castles and many places of interest in the near vicinity and further afield.

Aberfeldy

The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities including white water rafting, golfing, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting.

Loch Tay offers sailing and fishing whilst hill walkers can conquer Schiehallion and Ben Lawers two of the many munroes in the area. With the festival town of Pitlochry, Blair Castle, and the fair city of Perth all nearby, Highland Perthshire caters for all interests and tastes.

The picturesque town of Aberfeldy is only 7 miles away, with antique and book shops, golf course, putting green, tennis courts and rafting.

Cycling, horse riding and watersports are also available locally as are plenty places to visit: Glengoulandie Country Park and Deer Park, Crannog Centre, Aberfeldy Distillery, Highland Adventure Safaris and gold panning visitors centre, Castle Menzies, Cluny House Gardens

"Spacious, modern and luxurious holliday cottage in beautifull scenery"

This is a great place to stay if you want to explore the heart of Scotland and prefer a modern place with great comfortable beds. Each room has its own well plumbed, spacious bathroom. The kitchen is modern and well equiped, the vieuw great and the balcony rather private. You are in a short distance of endless beautifull hikes and nice small towns. Edinburgh is only a one and a half hour drive, but you definitely need a car to go anywhere. We loved it here and our teenagers enjoyed the space, the bathrooms and the comfort. The loch is tiny and man made, but the feel of the veiuw is great and we have seen a great variety of birds anyway. Don't expect a night life, but if you come for the opposite, this is the place to be. The owners are helpfull, the booking is easy and they didn't even asked for a safety deposit..

"excellent"

The lodge is absolutely beautiful and spacious . We were a party of five and we all could not fault the property. Bedrooms all with en suite were all very clean and under floor heating. The weather was also perfect whilst we were there which was an added bonus. We will definitely return in the future!!

"How we enjoyed our weekend."

Thanks to the staff at HPL for making this a great weekend. Location met all our needs, accomodation was great, the staff even helped with a speaker for our i pod, nothing was too much trouble in this friendly atmosphere of the Perthshire hills. Our family are currently finding out their availability dates for 2012.
