Sea View is situated right on the idyllic welsh coast within Snowdonia National Park and features stunning uninterrupted panoramic views across the golf course, and dunes to the sea from the generous first floor sun terrace.

Ready to sleep up to four children and four adults across two double and two twin bedrooms our charming holiday home is perfect for those looking for a relaxing holiday.

Fully equipped with all the amenities you need to feel right at home, the first floor comprises a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a well appointed kitchen with breakfast bar / dining area.

The comfortable lounge area is furnished with a huge corner sofa, TV, DVD player and VCR, all areas having access to the sun terrace via sliding patio doors.

On the ground floor you'll find three further bedrooms, family bathroom, utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge-freezer.

All ground floor bedrooms also having panoramic views and access to a sun terrace via patio doors..

Guests also have access to off-road parking for three to five vehicles. While families are welcome we regretfully don't allow pets and smoking is also not allowed.
Bedding is supplied and also one bath and hand towel per resident.

The North Wales / Snowdonia/Gwynedd region

Aberdovey is a little harbour town set within the Snowdonia National Park, where the river Dyfi meets the blue waters of Cardigan Bay. There are watersports galore, sailing, sailboarding, wind surfing, rowing, canoeing and boat trips. There is also a championship golf course.

Village activities include tennis courts, crown green bowls, croquet lawn and mini golf.

The Aberdovey area

Throughout the summer there are yachting regattas, festivals for all age groups and watersports of every description.
Close by is the mountain of Cader Idris, very popular for walking and slightly further north is Snowdon. These are claimed to be the two most popular mountains for climbing and walking in Wales.

Approximately 3 miles along the coast is Tywyn, which is the home of the Talyllyn Railway, which travels along its scenic route and terminates at Talyllyn lake, which is not to be missed.

“A great family holiday” We have recently stayed for a week at Sea View in Aberdovey. Our ages ranged from 3 to 72 and it catered for our every need. The views from the property are stunning and it is very well equipped. I think Sea View has spoilt us for staying anywhere else and we would all love to go again. There was only one problem, we had difficulty using the key, but I am sure this could be solved with some oil!

“Another wonderful stay here” This was our second stay at Sea View and was just as wonderful as the first. the approach to the property is breathtaking and when you arrive at Sea View there is the most beautiful view over the bay. The house has a lovely homely feel as soon as you enter,it is warm and welcoming and everything is spotlessly clean. Every room in the house has patio doors looking out onto the beach and golf course and the terrace outside the living room patio doors is well equipped for a relaxing time, with table chairs, lounger and gas barbecue. The kitchen is very well equipped for a large group. We would definitely recommend to our friends and hope to return sometime ourselves.

“Great house” We spent New Year 2012 in Sea View and it was a really good start to the New Year. Excellent location can walk to the town and beach, although a bit of a hill, and the views over the esturary are fantastic. There were 4 adults and 2 children and the accommodation was perfect for us. Would certainly return.

“A Wonderful Holiday” Sea View is in a wonderful location, the views across the bay were outstanding and can be seen from every room. The House is lovely and spacious with loads of room for our two grandchildren to play and even a wonderful variety of toys and books for them to enjoy. The walk to the beach and back was most exhilerating but at least we didn't feel guilty about enjoying the fish & chips and ice cream in wonderful Aberdovey.

“Relaxing stay in a wonderful well-equipped property” Lovely spacious house, well equipped. Great lounge with an enormous sofa! Good views out to sea and over the golf course from the upstairs rooms and balcony.

“Stunning location with wonderfull Seaviews” In need of relaxation in a beautiful homely surrounding then Sea View is the place to stay. We were delighted with the modern clean acomodation with amazing veiws of the Aberdovey estuary from all four bedrooms, Kitchen and Lounge.The short walk to the beach and local golf course makes for a very relaxing experience. Aberdovey town centre is an easy 10 minute walk with lovely retaurants, shops and local fresh produce available.

“Great house, impressive views” Stayed here for 3 nights in May with 5 friends for a golf weekend. The house completely surpassed expectations really. We changed arrival plans a couple of times but the owner and caretakers were more than happy to accommodate us, helping make the whole trip really easy. The house itself was perfect for us- spacious, clean, perfect location with incredible views over the sea and golf course from the outdoor areas. The village pubs and shops were an easy 10/15 mins walk away. Not quite so easy on the way back after a few beers though as it is up a very steep lane. Worth the tough walk though for the pretty spectacular location. Deposit was returned promptly too. No complaints at all - liked it :)

“Spacious modern cottage with stunning views” Stayed here with friends as we were mountain biking in Snowdonia. Cottage was perfect. Lovely large living room, with huge corner sofa was just what we needed after a day in the hills. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were great. Good parking space, room to store bikes, lots of fridge space, plenty of hot water and a well stocked kitchen. Views were stunning, a bit too cold for us to make use of the massive balcony but a great feature. Not too far to walk into Aberdovey itself, which has a couple of ok pubs and a great curry house - all we needed really!! I would highly recommend this place.

“Extemely comfortable property with spectacular views” this property exceeded our expectations (which were already set quite high from the listing on the website). the location and views over the estuary could not have been better, although those with limited mobility might struggle with the steep approach from the coast road- access by car and parking no problem. The property is furnished to a high standard, the bedrooms and bathrooms spotless and modern, kitchen and living room well equipped- there was plenty of space for us all , indoors and out (party of 8, 4 adults and 4 teenagers) Wi-Fi much appreciated by teenagers Minor improvements could be made- information regarding B-B-Q gas replacement, household rubbish disposal and recycling and the addition of a Guest book for visitors to make comments / recommend places of interest etc

“fabulous family accommodation in a fantastic location!” We had a great holiday with our 5 children aging from 10 - 19 years. The house was clean & welcoming on our arrival and had everything we needed to make it a relaxing break. Having the beach within walking distance meant that the car could be left behind most days which made it a real break for the driver. The lounge had the most practical/comfy sofa that was able to fit all 7 of us on to chill and watch movies in the evening as well as the outside terrace where we ate breakfast most mornings. We will definately be returning here!!

“Great location, fabulous views” We stayed at Sea View in 2010 and 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on both occasions.The house is high up on the hillside and has spectacular views out to sea and up the coast - and a great, wide balcony on which to barbecue and relax. With a good pair of binoculars you can even watch the bowls matches on the green below or the boats sailing into Aberdovey. It's an 'upside down' house with the bedrooms on the ground floor, all of which are spacious have the same great views, and there is large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner upstairs. It's a short walk down to the beach or into Aberdovey, but quite tough if you walk back up the hill (although obviously easy by car). It's also only a five minute drive to Tywyn if you need a supermarket. The house had all mod-cons and there is a small garden outside. For a family holiday it was just right - a lovely place to stay. We would definitely book again.
