The two bedrooms are situated on the first floor and comprise of a double and a twin, both of which feature original sash windows. The property also benefits from a lovely garden with patio, decking and outdoor seating for four boasting some lovely views over the stunning estuary. The combination of the scenic surroundings and the cosy interior of this property make Driftwood Cottage a perfect place to base a holiday in the Snowdonia National Park.

The property has gas central heating and comprises: Lounge / diner:  with feature gas ‘living flame' fire, digital TV, DVD and furniture for four to dine Kitchen:  with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge / freezer. A stable door leads to a small yard at the rear with steep steps to the garden area. Shower room:  with shower enclosure, WC and wash basin

The North Wales region

North Wales is a great combination of the family seaside resorts, which extend along its northern coastline and of course the magnificent mountains that make up Snowdonia Nation Park. Also located in this region are the very distinctive Island of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula. So visitors will find a diverse holiday destination that caters for many different types of holidays from the family beach holiday to serious climbing holidays, and lots in between. There are plenty of things to do here; walking, sailing, fishing and many indoor attractions for the children. Wildlife enthusiasts will not be disappointed, with Anglesey and the Lleyn peninsula in particular being rich in diverse mix of habitats.

Aberdovey

The idyllic coastal town of Aberdovey has been described as one of the most beautiful coastal destinations in Wales its not hard to see why; with its stunning estuary meeting the waters of the river Dyfi and those of Cardigan Bay offering up some truly magnificent photographic opportunities. This bustling harbour town also has plenty to offer the visitor; from stunning sand dunes to beautiful beaches, excellent golf courses, fantastic nature reserves and a historic narrow gauge railway, as well as a good range of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes. Art lovers will also be pleased with the great number of galleries dotted about the town and for the history lover there are numerous castles and historic monuments within easy reach. Those with a passion for outdoor adventure will also be pleased with the number of activities on offer in the area; from sailing to surfing, windsurfing, rowing, canoeing, fishing, boating, walking and cycling and hill walking, there is certainly something on offer for all members of the family here. The nearby Snowdonia mountain range is also a haven for mountain lovers and the numerous coastal paths in the area will excite all levels of walker, helping to make Aberdovey an exciting and adventurous place to stay.
