This delightful detached bungalow is situated only 200 metres from Aberdaron's renowned long sandy beach. This Aberdaron cottage has spectacular sea views and offers comfortable, light and airy accommodation, which is ideal for a seaside family holiday or for a walking/cycling vacation. The cottage offers two bedrooms, a bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room with dining area, whilst outside there are fabulous decking areas with ample seating, perfect for dining alfresco. In the large garden you will find a well equipped summer house ideally placed to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. (Please note one of the patio areas has a section with no handrails, young children may need to be supervised if using this area.)

A couple of minutes gentle stroll from the property you will find the village and the beautiful sandy beach of Aberdaron. The beach is ideal for family fun and exhilarating long walks, the village has several amenities including a newsagent's, Post Office, general store, restaurants, cafes, fish and chip shop and pubs. The whole area has many beautiful beaches, coastal walks and spectacular unspoilt countryside and the popular resorts of Abersoch and Pwllheli are within easy reach. This cottage is an excellent beach-side base at any time of year.

Aberdaron is the perfect base for countryside walks, a large proportion of the peninsula is National Trust land affording the opportunity of walks of various lengths and difficulty. For fitness enthusiasts, the area is excellent for cycling and running, there is little traffic on the roads and tracks which is perfect for training.

"Awel y Mor is a lovely holiday home - it really exceeded our expectations."

We really enjoyed our stay at Awel y Mor. It is very well situated near the centre of Aberdaron, with fantastic views of the sea. We were particularly impressed by the large garden and great decking area, and the lovely summer house is like having an extra living room - great for reading, listening to music or just relaxing and listening to the sea. The house itself is really well-equipped with lots of thoughtful details which set it apart from other holiday lets we have stayed in previously. The owners have gone out of their way to ensure that guests have the easiest stay possible. We thoroughly recommend this holiday home and fully intend to return.
