This old stone villa offers the perfect retreat from the busy modern life. recently restored this Villa mixes old traditional styles with contemporary fittings and comfort. A stunning back garden which edges into the forest has incredible views and a private 10x5 swimming pool completes the picture. This Villa is perfectly situated for you to enjoy the wonderful white sandy beaches of the fantastic Ria de Muros y Noia and is a great home from home as you explore the delights of undiscovered Galicia.

The Galicia region

Our villa is situated on the Ria de Muros y Noia region. A lush green landscape of mountain vistas and stunning views mixed with the almost empty white sanded beaches of the Ria. Its the perfect place for a family holiday with plenty to do and visit within the region.

Abaixo de Roo area

Visit the historical towns of Santiago de Compostela, Pontevdra, La Coruna or Padron. Or unwind in the smaller towns of Noia and Muros. Festivals are a regular occurrence throughout the summer. Closer by you can play tennis, go horse riding, go Kite Surfing, go Bungy Jumping, Play a Par 3 golf course or go Go-Karting! There are plenty of high quality eateries within easy distance of the houses too.

How to get there

The main airport is Santiago de Compostela which is a 50 minute drive away. There are direct flights from Stansted, Liverpool and Dublin or indirect ones via Madrid and Barcelona. You can also fly to La Coruña from Heathrow, or fly to Vigo and Porto and drive to the house within a couple of hours.

Thoroughly re-energised! How could one not be with the spectacular views when you wake up in the morning! My two children (6 &3) have loved it, particularly the horseriding, which they had never done before! Fabulous house, great location and superlative hosts! What more could you ask for? Fabulous house, thanks Rupert and Maria. Great views of the forest and hills, which have been wonderful to explore. If you look hard enough you can find wild strawberries, sweet chestnuts, plums and clementines! We also loved picking our own muscles and cooking them for a seafood banquet! We spent many hours playing boules and using the very good standard pool table. Have a great time for anyone that stays here!

What a wonderful house, a stunning retreat to relax and unwind in. We enjoyed all the homely touches in the house, the great feeling of space, the luminous views over the hills and the castle like atmosphere. We loved the hand made furniture and the attention to detail, the wonderful bed linen and the designer bathrooms.

What a fantastic house! Loved the pool, the setting, the walks through the forest and the easy access to some of the most awesome beaches we´ve ever seen. The large bay at Carnota wins our vote – hands down, especially the lagoon at the Boca de Rio and the surf áction´along the seafront. Spectacular!

A fantastic holiday – we all loved Galicia- The lush scenery, the beautiful deserted beaches, the friendly nature of the locals. (In danger of sounding like a holiday brochure!) Didn´t see another British Hpoliday maker – how rare is that?!
The villa was fab – spacious and comfortable as a two family dwelling and had obviously been put together with a lot of thought and visual flair! Loved the garden and the beautiful pool (Our two 5year olds learnt to swim!) Most of all I´ll miss those stunning views.
