Heritage The A Estrada municipality boasts an abundant historical heritage including forts, cruceiros (carved stone crosses), Romanesque churches, and the manor houses scattered about the lands of the old Tabeirós. Among these manor houses, the most important is the showy Pazo de Oca, known for the splendid and carefully tended gardens that have given it the name Versailles of Galicia. The house has two floors, with large windows that open onto the gallery and look out over the gardens. It also has large rooms, paintings, and a characteristic Galician kitchen.
