Home description
Our 2-bed self catering apartment is situated in the heart of Nice in the Quartier des Musiciens. You will be fantastically situated for the beach (Promenade des Anglais), the main shopping area, well placed for Nice's great choice of restaurants and only a short walk from the old part of the city (Vieux Nice).
The self catering holiday apartment is in a typical Nice period building with high ceilings and period coving. It is on the third floor (there is a lift) with uninterupted views from the lounge and main bedroom windows. The rooms are bright, spacious and the area is quiet thanks to the building being set back from the road in its own courtyard. The two bedrooms and the lounge all have big French windows (and shutters, of course) facing west and looking out on to palm trees in the courtyard.
The apartment is equipped to a high standard throughout: we pride ourselves in making sure you have everything you need for a comfortable holiday on the French Riviera.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
Nice is the cultural capital of the Cote d'Azur. It is beautifully nestled between the southern Alps (ski resorts are only 1h15 drive away) and the breathtaking Bay of Angels (Baie des Anges). The region is home to Monaco, Cannes, Antibes along the coast and stunning hill top villages like Peillon, Peil and St Paul de Vence.
Nice / Musicians' Quarter area
Beaches, promenades, narrow medieval streets, restaurants, cafes, markets, shopping, art - it's all here in Nice. It just depends on what you fancy doing. Lazing about and soaking in the warm sun often feels like the best option, but if you want to get out and about and experience the best of the French Riviera, Nice is the place to be.
Carnival in February is legendary. Monaco Grand Prix in May. Jazz festival in August. Basically, there is always something happening on the Riviera. An impressive choice of museums including Matisse and Chagall await. Beaches are there all year round to bathe in, play on or just sit on and watch the world go by. Nice's shopping is addiictive and there is vast number of restaurants and bars to choose from.
How to get there
Cheap flights available with Easyjet to Nice from Stansted, Gatwick, Luton, Liverpool, Bristol, Belfast and Newcastle and BMI offering good value out of Heathrow. Once you land at Nice airport, take bus 99 (train station) or 98 (Place Massena)(€4) - the apartment is less than 10 minutes walk from either stops.

Further details indoors: In addition to the high level of equipment, you will also find English paperbacks, a collection of English-language DVDs as well as board, card games and children's toys. The CD player also includes a 'Line-in' cable, so you can bring your iPod or MP3 player and plug it straight into the CD Player.
We have recently added WiFi internet access and a new TV service that has a selection of English-language stations (including BBC World, BBC Prime, Sky News and CNN). There is also a phone that accepts incoming calls.
Further details
There are two multistorey car parks within 2 mins walk from the apartment - the closest is on Place Mozart. Weekly passes are available from the car park information offices. Approx cost is €70 for a week. Parking on the street is possible, but difficult to find.
Conditions
No extra charges - the weekly rate is inclusive of towels, bed linen, electricity, water charges and heating.
Change over day is flexible (though we do ask that you to arrive after 4pm and vacate the apartment by 10am).
Breakage deposit: refundable breakage deposit of £150 must be paid before keys are dispatched.
Payment conditions: 25% of the total rent is payable to secure your booking. Balance of rent and the breakage deposit must be paid a minimum of 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.
