Mojacar Playa has a fabulous warm climate and is an unspoilt low-rise family resort offering a wide choice of activities for all ages. From fishing, sailing, golf and bowling to the more energetic watersports, there is something to suit everyone. And, if you fancy stretching out with a good book Mojacar’s beaches (some 7km of golden, sun-kissed sand) are clean and uncrowded. What better way to soak up all that glorious sunshine.

Mojacar Pueblo is steeped in history. Friendly locals welcome guests to their hillside villages, where customs and traditions add to its charm. Mojacar’s ancient centre, majestically perched on a hilltop has a fairytale quality. Glancing up, clusters of exquisite whitewashed buildings look as if a snowfall of sugar lumps has settled.
Vera has 2 areas, the old town with its historical and abundance of Spanish character and beach area, and Vera Playa with its urbanization marques with high quality buildings and vast beach. The Parque Acuatico Vera (Water Park) is located here. The slides and water chutes are guaranteed to generate enough thrills and shrieks to keep the adrenaline pumping for days.
Just a short drive from Mojacar with the backdrop of the Cabrera Mountains is Turre. With wonderful architecture, a traditional Spanish feel and a number of excellent restaurants it is a great place to meander.
As well as being home to some of the finest seafood restaurants on this coastline, Garrucha is an affluent market town and commercial centre offer a good choice in shops, banks and amenities – a stark contrast to the mystique of Mojacar.
For those wanting to escape the lively beaches and discover the ‘real’ Spain the small in land villages of whitewashed houses offer a peaceful and relaxing alternative. For several years, the natural and picturque setting of Bedar has been popular with photographers and artists.

- Fly to Almeria - Mojacar is approx 45 minute drive - Fly to Murcia/Alicante - Mojacar is approx 2 hrs drive
- Flights to Almeria airport are available from BA, Easyjet and Ryanair daily from a variety of UK airports at very competitive prices.
- A collection and drop-off service is available for 55 Euros each way from Almeria - Taxis are always available outside the airport (be wary of being overcharged)
