This apartment is situated in the centre of historic Winchester , Hampshire with all the sights and facilities of the City Centre on the doorstep. The apartment is comfortably furnished and very well equipped for a self catering holiday. The fully fitted kitchen area includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. The sitting room has a flat screen digital tv with many tv channels to choose from, dvd player, hi-fi with cd player, broadband internet access as well as a sofa bed sleeping 2. There is a newly fitted shower room, and a double bedroom. It is on the first floor ( which is the top floor of the building). The apartment benefits from its own parking space and a small shared garden. It is the perfect base for someone who wishes to be in the middle of the buzz and action of a lively city, and for those who want to keep fit, the sports and leisure centre with its gym, swimming pool, tennis courts and huge park and river are just at the end of the little road.

Winchester area
Winchester is a very central base for exploring southern England and the Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Bath, London, Brighton, Bournemouth, New Forest, Portsmouth are all a very easy day trip from here. Winchester is the ancient capital of England and has many interesting sites to visit including its famous cathedral, college, round table, museum etc. There is a lively night life in the city with many bars, pubs and restaurants as well as a cinema and theatre.
How to get there
Direct train from London Waterloo to Winchester station which is 5 minutes walk from apartment. Direct bus/coach from all London airports to Winchester, again 5 minutes walk to apartment. Low cost flights (Flybe) to Southampton airport, 10 minutes by car, or by train. Low cost flights to Bournemouth airport (Ryanair, Easyjet) 3/4 hour by car. Excellent road links to city via M3 motorway. Apartment has its own parking space.
