Holidaylettings.co.uk is promoting its value for money holiday accommodation across London with in-car tube panels and branded Hackney cabs.
The completely branded Hackeny cabs are spreading the holidaylettings.co.uk word to millions of commuters, tourists and shoppers around London with the caption “Letting you escape the rat race.” The quirky design by Mark-Making allows commuters to be transformed into a bikini clad woman or a hunky male sunning themselves on the beach. The cabs will cover over 70,000 miles in the first half of 2009.
The in-car tube panels are reaching millions of commuters in January and February across the entire London Underground network - all 250 miles of it! The creative features the slogan "Letting you have the holiday you deserve, without breaking the bank" to help promote cost, space and choice benefits of a self catering holiday in a private holiday home.
The campaign reinforces the benefits of holidaying in self catering accommodation. In May 2008, holidaylettings.co.uk surveyed its holidaymaker database and asked participants to do a price comparison of a vacation in a self catering holiday home and a hotel. The results showed a unanimous agreement that staying in a private holiday home can be more than 50 per cent cheaper than a hotel stay.
Ross Elder, managing director of holidaylettings, says: "Holidaymakers' purses are tighter than ever this year, but this doesn't need to stop them taking their well earned break. We are highlighting how flexible, cost effective and economical it is to stay in a private holiday home through our 2009 advertising campaign."
