“Perfect family friendly retreat!” Thank you for letting us stay in your apartment. It was very clean, spacious, well equipped and in an excellent location. Short walk to beach and village centre, where we ate most evenings. Would highly recommend your apartment and hope we can visit again soon! Ferragudo is so good for families. Communication was excellent between you and your Portuguese letting manager. A wonderful time had by all....especially the 3 and 7 year old!

“Ms” Lovely apartment which is modern, comfortable, spacious and renovated to a high standard- we particularly liked the new bathroom. We spent a lot of time on the patio/terrace which is well furnished. The marina is a pleasant 20 minute walk- a bit too far for us at night with a young baby but nice during the day. There is a lovely coffee shop/bar in the complex which is open from 8-8; great for drinks and snacks. We went to two great restaurants nearby - Rios and Opirata. Food and service in both were really excellent. Also worth a mention is the owners local contact Jackie- she met us at the apartment, showed around and gave us some great tips on the neighbourhood. All in all we had a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend the apartment and the location

“Idyllic Holiday Location” We stayed at Terra dos Calandros for two weeks . Peter & Christine were the perfect hosts . Nothing was too much trouble for them . The annex to their wonderful property is beautifully decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. It has all the facilities you could wish for . The surrounding gardens are lovely and the large swimming pool and pool area are perfect for relaxing in the hot sun . Santo Estaveo is a little hamlet within 5 minutes walking distance . It has a well stocked store and a bar/restaurant which serves good , very reasonably priced good meals in an outdoor courtyard ( we booked a day in advance at the bar just to make sure we got a table ) or if you prefer just drinks in the bar . If you want a better choice of food etc then there are supermarkets within 10 minute drive. I think it is essential to hire a car , we did and visited the lovely upmarket resorts of Tavira on several occasions , Santa Luzia , Vila Real de Santo Antonio , as well as Fabrica and Cacela Velha . We had a restful & relaxing holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent holiday property .
