Green Bay at Pizzo Beach Club
Great apartment, clean, modern and very well equipped

We have just returned from a lovely, relaxing holiday in Green Bay, Pizzo Beach. The whole booking process was very smooth, Jaroslaw was very helpful and answered our questions promptly. We were met at the apartment by the property manager Paul (Irish and very charming) who took us through all the necessary info, gave us tips where to shop etc., and was always available at the end of the phone if you needed any other information. The apartment was perfect for us, clean, modern and fully equipped with everything we needed. The free wifi was a huge plus and to be able to sit outside on the terrace and eat or just to have a glass of wine was very relaxing. Pizzo Beach Club itself is lovely, very well maintained and safe. The pools and facilities are excellent and the walk through the pine trees to the beach was very relaxing. The beach is unspoilt, lovely and quiet when we were there (it was very early in the season), just what we needed and the free sun loungers and umbrellas were a bonus. A car is advisable to make the most of the area and to visit the lovely old towns of Pizzo, Tropea, Vibo etc. We took the train to Messina in Sicily one day to see an old friend. The train and hydrofoil accross the Straits of Messina were very cheap. It's a very do-able day trip, the train took about an hour from Vibo/Pizzo station and the hydrofoil about 20 minutes. You can also travel further into Sicily if you make an early enough start. We also visited some lovely old hill towns and the National Park and one day drove accross to the other coast and visited some very interesting places. There was La Castella, an old castle in the sea linked by a causeway, and La Colonella, an archeaological site being excavated (Temple of the Goddess Hera ) which had a brand new museum (closed when we went, so didn't get to see it) and also a lovely simple old church tucked away. It was not far from the old town of Crotone. It looked like they were getting ready for one of their festivals which would have been nice to see. We ate out some of the time (impossible not to in Italy, and who can resist the icecream!) but it was also nice to come back to a comfortable apartment and cook simple fresh food with a nice glass or two of the local wine (delicious and cheap) All in all a very relaxing holiday in an unspoilt part of Italy and I'm sure we'll be returning. … see more
Blue Bay at Pizzo Beach Club
We love this place!

We came to Pizzo Beach last year for 3 days and just fell in love with it. The resort has 2 swimming pools. Whereas to get to the beach an 8 min walk through pine trees leads to a lovely beach (with sun loungers and umbrella's). This year we came back with our whole family (8) of us - 3 couples a 16 yr old and an aunt. We rented this lovely one bed apartment and another 2 bed apartment on the same complex. The Blue Bay one bed apartment I booked directly with the owner. From the booking to our arrival the owner made sure that all was going well and we were happy. Once there it was very hot, but the air con was terrific, we didn't even need to keep it on too low as the two rooms had air con and in a few minutes it quickly cooled everything down. The other perk is that there was wi fi which not all the other apartments on the resort have. The apartment is modern, simple but has all you need. The bed settee was comfortable and big. Pizzo Beach Club
A wonderful long weekend

it was just two girls needing a break mid September. Within ten mins we were transported from airport to apartment. which was beautiful clean and so modern, with everything you could need for a lovely time. The aircon was wonderfully cool after a day in the sun. Both pool and beach were no more than two mins walk. The beach is stunning with lovely white sand. No cooking for us. There's a nice restaurant and bar on site. Also Pizzo town is only ten minutes drive with many good restaurants. I Thought we were in heaven. Perfect for a relaxing stay with children

We are a small family of 3, with a 8 months baby and we have found Pizzo Beach Club and the Neidin apt really perfect for a relax vacation. Everything is convenient and quick to access, sea, the two pools and the restaurant. The path in the forest is very pleasant, especially for a walk during the sunny hours The Neidin apt is very nice. The bedroom is large and the kitchen/living room is well arranged. The apt is clear and there is everything you can need for a perfect stay. There's also a frezeer to keep cool the famous tartufo di pizzo, the best ice cream ever had! There are two air cons in both the Bedroom and the Lounge, wich is not so frequent!! We got in contact with Sheila, the owner. We asked many info and she always was kind and exhaustive, a very available person! In more few words...we come back! … see more
