“Absolute perfection - a real home from home!!” Having stayed in Queens Gardens in 2010 (albeit in a different property) me, my wife and my 8 year old daughter were eager to return to this fabulous complex. As a family we prefer renting a privately owned property where we have the flexibility to either stay in and chill out, or get ready and go out for a fabulous meal/evening, and Paphos offers this in abundance. Well if that's your type of holiday to, then this spectacular property tick all the boxes!! Logistically, Queens Gardens offers you the best of both worlds; located at the start of The Tomb Of The Kings Road you have a huge choice of British themed bars and a variety of international restaurants. You can also take a 5-10 minute stroll into the Harbour and Kato Paphos where you have scores of excellent restaurants (a huge array of cuisines), a scattering of traditional Cypriot taverna's, numerous family bars and the lively Bar Street for the younger crowd!! Added to this, you can stroll approx 1km into the Old Town, Municipal Beach (which isn't the best beach in the world to be honest) is a 300-400 yard walk away (which has beach volleyball courts and a beach soccer pitch), and the new Kings Avenue Mall (which is currently under construction next door) is something to get excited about for 2012; this will include design/retail outlets, restaurants/bars, a cinema, ice rink etc). There are 3 decent supermarkets within a 5 minute walk, and numerous kiosks (peripteros) on your doorstep. The bus stop for Coral Bay (an excellent sandy beach) and the Waterpark is immediately outside the complex. Now the property!! A very spacious penthouse, with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large kitchen, dining and living areas...superbly furnished/equipped. If you prefer the shade then there's covered balconies at both the front and rear of the apartment. The highlight however, must be the east-west facing roof terrace which enjoys completely uninterrupted sunshine (unless you seek shelter under the parasol), even during the winter months. It's suitably equipped with a jacuzzi (which could comfortably fit 6-8 people in) a BBQ (with grill and hot plate, so you could easily cook breakfast, lunch and tea on it if you wanted), a sink/taps, 4 padded sunbeds, 2 reclining chairs and 6 seats & table for dining. We honestly enjoyed nothing more on the holiday then watching the spectacular sunset with an ice-cold drink, which is clearly visible from this rooftop...truly magical!! 'Helens Club' has opened within the complex this year, and offers drinks/snacks at reasonable prices, along with board games, books, darts, a pool table, Sky TV & a relatively basic gymnasium. The communal pool is a fairly decent size and is excellently maintained/cleaned. All in all, the perfect location around which to base your holiday!! Rob & Kelly Tyne & Wear

“Was it too good to be true? On the contrary!!! It was exactly as advertised... and more!!!” We arrived late afternoon and we were welcomed by one of the most amazing sunsets we have seen. The beach front location of the villa is excellent. We had all the privacy we wanted and in addition we had shops within a short walking distance. The villa was spotless and the furniture new and the decor minimal which was perfect as the breathtaking view from the windows is a perfect decor. Service by owner both during booking and after arrival was flawless. Thank you for a memorable holiday!!!

“Fantastic place, fantastic location.” We stayed at the Royal Seacrest (booked with Shyam Verna) and it was great. His communication was timely and excellent. The place was eactly as described, location was great, really close to the main road and about 20 mins to the harbour. Coral Bay is a 15 min bus ride away which is no stress or hassle. The complex has its own pool, and Shyam's apartment is in the best block. It has a sea view, and roof terrace where you can see an amazing sunset, and it gets sun for most of the day on the balcony. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Enjoy

“lovely relaxing way to spend a well earned break” The house itself was very clean and the pictures on the owners website were true down to the very last detail which isnt always the case we were just 2 but 4 people would have the same amenities and plenty of space with en suite facilities and a balcony to each bedroom The lounge diner equipped with everything you could ppssibly need We didnt use the tv as we are not very tech minded and it wasnt straight frward but any little problems like that Max who looks after the place was only a call away we didnt bother as a break from tv was welcome we did use the wifi as it was nice to skype the family as a self catering unit it was perfect right down to toilet rolls we didnt need to buy any toiletries at all the provision of outdoor toeels for the sunbeds by the very clean and warm swimming pool was appreciated and we took advantage of the bar and cafe onsite which was run by Ian and Carol who look after the sunbeds brollies and make you feel completely relaxed with there helpfulness whether its food and drink relaxing by the pool info on nightlife restarants hire cars absolutely everything to make sure you have a good time. A hire car is not necesary as a bus service is a few minutes walk away and ther are a few restaurants and a lidl also a few minutes walk away and another supermarket about ten/15 minute walk away We found a lovely italian restarant a few stops on the bus in the tombs of the kings area which Ian recomended and when we mentioned Ians name we were given a 10 euro discount and this happened a couple of times on Ians recommendations whcih we thought was very nice also we went on a luxery day on a lovely boat where we had lnclusive lunch drinks entertainment and swimming for those that wanted it was a full day also on Ians recommendation I tthink the only downside to this place would have to be its not really suitable if you were in a wheelchair as although we did see a disabled gentleman enjoying the pool and its facilities I saw them arrive in a car I think it would be very difficult for the wheelchair but my husband has quite difficulty walking he managed quite well with the few steps etc While we were there we had 1 bad day when it poured with rain and Ian knocked on our door to see if we needed anything from the supermarket and Carol arived at lunchtime with 2 plates of freshly cooked quiche fries and salad and a lovely cake this was a most unexpected and unbelievable act of kindness and although carol didnt know it was my birthday and one i wont forget in a hurry and it was only our second day so actually a marvallous way to start and the friendliness and kindness was everywhere we went all 2 weeks I can recomend this place in all honesty as a gem a 5 star gem

“Beautiful, tranquil home from home in the sun” We had a wonderful stay at elysia park. The apartment is spacious, modern and fully equipped with all the kitchen essentials, kids stuff (from cutlery, to cot to toys and games) and beach and pool stuff you could ever need. The complex it's in is incredibly clean, quiet and well maintained and the apt balcony has a lovely view of the pool that's wonderful for a family breakfast in the sun. Tom and Anne are perfect owners and made us feel welcome right from the start with extensive guides to the apt and surrounding area. There are a couple of small supermarkets round the corner from the apt and regular buses, but we found having a hire car really useful for getting to the main supermarket in town and seeing the sights (and the lovely beach at coral bay) with our 2 year old. We would definitely recommend this apartment to young families or couples looking for a quiet and relaxing break.

“Home away from home” The apartment is very clean and well furnished. The landlord has a very good eye for detail and everything required to have an enjoyable holiday is provided. The WIFI connection is strong. Every consideration is fully met as advertised. My wife and my two teenage sons love the apartment and Elysia park is a fantastic complex; beautiful, lush and very secure. It's very close to the beaches and the shops are not far at all. We would go back again and again.
