“lovely relaxing get away by the sea” we were so delighted with our stay here, the house is stunning, modern, comfatable and in a lovely peaceful location. the balcony overlooking the beach was perfect, we all enjoyed sitting and admiring the view until the sun went down, even our dog spent all his time people watching......there are plenty of little cafes and places to eat close by, we enjoyed an indian takeaway one evening, and Dylans resturant opposite is a must. There are plenty of places to visit in the area but our purpose for our holiday was to relax and unwind, which is exactly what we did, walks on the beach, nice food. and luxury accomodation, perfect for us. We highly recommend this holiday rental, it was perfect.

“Perfect post christmas family break” My family and I stayed at the Woodbank cottage for a short break The cottage was perfect in every way It was comfortable, cosy, well equiped and very well looked after The location is peaceful and stunning yet not too isolated. The Telford pub was great being just a short walk away We found it very welcoming The weather was very seasonal but kind to us which made the numerous long walks we did even more enjoyable. We went into Llangollen town which was a 10 minute drive away My son and nephew got a taxi back one night which cost just £8 We always have a family mini break over christmas and our stay at the Woodbank defiantly got a thumbs up by us all including Stanley our dog who we have never taken with us before We didn't get to meet Steve and Karen the owners, but family members were on hand if we needed anything which was good to know I would definatly recommend this cottage and would like to visit again one day maybe in the summertime Thank you for letting us stay and for the welcoming 'gift' they were yummy!

“Great house!” We had a great time staying in the house. It's huge and really well furnished and decorated. Owners were really nice and helpful, and everything was in place. Little notes and sweets left for the kids left them overwhelmed! we were lucky to have a sunny day! So we just walked down to the tram, took it up the hill and strolled down to the pier and town. The house location is perfect as you don't need to get in the car to get to the beach, town or the pier. The views from the top of the hill were great. highly recommended!

“Ideal base for adventures in Snowdonia” A comfortable, cozy nest for a family of five. Well equipped and homely - it was always lovely to come back to after a day out. Great location with wonderful views (weather permitting) of the surrounding valleys, hills and mountains. A quiet retreat set back from and above the main road, so it felt very peaceful while at the same time being well connected for trips around North Wales. Also, very well situated for assaults on Moel Siabod (the path up goes past the cottage), Snowdon (of course) and any other peak you can think of in Snowdonia. We loved it.

“Cosy base for exploring Snowdonia National Park” A fantastic cosy cottage from which to explore all the delights of Snowdonia. It's compact but very clean and comfortable and fitted our family of four (including two boys of 11 and 14) perfectly. The welcome pack was a very nice touch. As others have said the pub across the bridge is very friendly and shows football matches in the evenings. Thanks very much Alan, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't fault the communication or the cleanliness of the cottage.

“Snowdon base” Fantastic location in the national park. Plenty of attractions nearby as well as the mountain range. The property grounds are amazing. The property itself has enough room for a group of 4-8 people and two bathrooms and heats up well. There is a nice stream out the back and sometimes the sheep end up in the back garden. There are more modern and more equipped properties but you need to remember what you are paying and for that amount you have more than enough to use as a nice base full of character to explore Snowdonia. I would only ask that the back patio door is looked at as we found that difficult to lock. Recommended.

“Ideal location, wonderful outlook.” The house was everything it claimed to be with an outlook to sea and sunsets above our expectations. We had a very varied group (94 to 40) and everyone was catered for. If I had to be critical the dining chairs were not too comfortable especially for the elder relatives and the kitchen and downstairs double room shower could have been cleaner. That said I would recommend this to anyone and will go back again very soon if only to experience the hot tub and have a BBQ with that amazing view.

“Wonderful views” The chalet is really well kitted out, but I must say you definitely need your own transport. “"Wow"!” We have just returned from our stay at Bramley cottage and What a wonderful week we've had. We were wowed from the moment we walked through the door and to be honest don't feel the photos do the property full justice. The living room, which appears to be the original part of the cottage was so cosy and loved putting our tea lights on in the huge fire place in the evenings. The kitchen diner is huge and modern, light and bright with everything you need. Loved putting the radio on in the mornings whilst preparing breakfast and the French doors open out to the beautiful walled garden which is so peaceful and relaxing. The bathroom is lovely and modern with huge bath and fantastic rainfall shower. The bedrooms, particularly the king size were extremely comfy and despite no wardrobe in the double room there is drawer space and room enough to share in the massive wardrobe in the king room. I was a little uncertain about the cottages location but it's literally a few minutes easy walk into the centre and we always managed to find a parking space too! We felt so relaxed and at home that we didn't want to leave. Would definitely recommend Bramley and also Pippin which is next door and hope very much to return in the future! Thanks Gill and Dave for making our holiday so special!!

“Stunning!!” We are a family of 7 including a 3 year old & a dog. We visited Borth Esgob from 22nd - 29th of December to celebrate Christmas. The house was absolutely stunning & had the most beautiful views of the beach & coastline from every window. Our dog particularly enjoyed her 2 daily walks on the white sandy beach which was yards away from the property. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could think of including lots of glasses, large glasses for wine ( always welcome!!) Cutlery, mugs, dinner sets, coffee machine ( pods) various sized coffee bodums, tea pots, cook ware, etc, etc. The American style fridge freezer was very useful for large families. The utility room housed a washing machine & a dryer which was helpful when you have a 3 year old with you. The 4 bathrooms were modern & the showers were powerful & always provided hot water. The sitting room was comfy & we were able to watch Netflix & Amazon prime on the large internet TV . The internet was fast which was great as some members of our family had to work during some of the days we were there. We loved all the artwork in the property & the little touches that made it feel very homely. The upstairs sitting room was lovely & felt very peaceful especially as I needed a few minutes away from the family downstairs on occasions!! There were plenty of games, books & children's games & jigsaw's. The house was very warm & had been decorated to a high standard. It was extremely clean & we felt very much at home from the time we arrived. Borth Esgob is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in & we would like to visit again. We have plenty of happy family memories from our week spent there If it ever goes on the market please let me know!!!

“Wow wow wow..... amazing!” From the minute you open the front gates your breath is taken away, what a view! We went for a weeks long winter break from work and what a better place to relax. The water in front of the cottage is constantly moving and changing, you could spend all day gazing at it. Watching the water from the cottage you feel like your floating on a boat, just wonderful. We also enjoyed long walks around the island, our favourite walk is between the two bridges. The cottage is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and the owner couldn't be more helpful with recommendations. This is our third visit and there is so much more of the island to see. Wether you want a relaxing cozy winters get away or to sit out in the courtyard on a sunny day this cottage is the perfect place.

Rhosneigr cottage

“Great location and spacious house” This house is very well located, on the dunes very close to the large expanse of Rhosneigr beach. We were not so lucky with the weather, so the outlook was not quite as wonderful as it should have been. The house itself has everything you need, but the bedrooms are typical, basic holiday house rooms with lino-type flooring. The upstairs sitting room with balcony is comfortable with lovely views and a nice rug which makes a big difference to the feel of the place. A few more such luxuries would raise my rating to 5 stars.
