“A wee piece of heaven” Loch Portain House is a beautiful, well equipped property on the banks of the Loch. There is an abundance of wildlife, and the view from the house is perfect , due to a complete wall of panoramic windows. It is the perfect base for exploring the Uists with countless amazing beaches that wouldn't look out of place in the Caribbean. I would thoroughly recommend it !

“Fantastic” A beautiful restored Blackhouse in an excellent location in North Uist just 10 minutes drive from Portmaddy (where the Ferry Terminal is). The cottage is modern and clean and highly recommended - perfect for a couple. Whilst there we saw Eagles, Buzzards, Ravens, a Peregrine Falcon and Red Deer. There are beautiful empty white sand beaches nearby where you can walk for hours and see no one. The cottage is also 15 minutes drive from the island of Berenay which also has amazing beaches and a Ferry Terminal (to Harris and Lewis).
