Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay in Rose Cottage last summer on Tripadvisor. We are so sorry that you were not completely delighted with your stay.
It is a very popular cottage and to date we have not had any other feedback on the mattresses at the property, so we will certainly look in to this now that you have raised the issue. Although, it is sometimes very difficult to please everyone with mattresses, what is comfortable for one family is not for another.
Similarly, we will forward your constructive comments on to the owner regarding the toilet roll holders and other points.
I remember coming over to the cottage to help you with the keys on your arrival and also young Steff in our office helped you out with a disabled chair to use in the shower if I remember correctly. Had you let us know about the BBQ we would certainly have asked the housekeeper to come back over and clean it for you (although the cleaning of BBQs is the responsibility of previous tenants, the housekeepers should check the BBQ when they are doing the changeover).
Both the owners of Rose Cottage and we in the booking office at Norfolk Hideaways care a great deal about the experience guests have of staying in the cottages, so I know that the owner will look in to all the points you have raised and I do hope that we are able to welcome you back to Norfolk some time in the future.
Best wishes - The Norfolk Hideaways team
