Ski condo to rent in Beech Mountain

Beech Mountain condo

“Cute Condo, Convenient Location!” Very convenient location on the top of Beech Mountain, with lots of cute restaurants and pizza parlors within a five-minute drive (mountain cabin rentals tend to be in the middle of nowhere, so having close-by amenities was important to me). About 10-15 minutes away from Banner Elk, 45 minutes to Boone, and 1 hour to Blowing Rock. This little condo had everything that our family was looking for: separate bedrooms, king-sized bed in the master, separate bathrooms, kitchen, and a porch with a lovely view of the mountains! Having DirectTV was an added bonus at the end of a long day once we'd put the kids to bed for the night. It was just what we needed for our four-day weekend getaway!

North Carolina holidays

Conquer the Appalachian Trail, show your support for the mighty Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, or discover the real smalltown America in the depths of North Carolina. Whether you’re looking to escape or like a crowd, you’ll find what you need in the Old North State.

Why North Carolina?

Authentic America

North Carolina is home to none other than the Carolina Panthers - an NFL team who know better than anyone how to put on a show. But if football’s not your thing, the state capital, Charlotte, is home to another great American staple: the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Into nature

Acres upon acres of pristine woodlands, rolling hills and looming mountains define North Carolina. The opportunities to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city are endless, and the world-famous Appalachian trail is the crowning jewel. Following the border with Tennessee, the Trail gives you exquisite views over two states at once.

Southern sun

When you book a house or a beach rental in North Carolina’s Outer Banks, you’re signing up for a break on some of the most enchanting beaches in America. You’ll find it hard to believe you’re not in Miami! Golden coastlines bounded by rolling sand dunes invite you to forget all about the outside world.

Places to visit

North Carolina Coast

Escape to North Carolina’s Atlantic coast for a beach holiday to rival Hawaii. The state boasts over 300 miles of beaches, including two national seashores, all littered with charming small towns and lighthouses. Chill on the beach, enjoy sunset walks on the sand, or explore Carolina’s Civil War history at leisure.

North Carolina Smoky Mountains

The Great Smoky Mountains, spanning the Tennessee state line, are a sight to behold. Ever popular with nature-lovers, this national park is packed with famous landmarks like Clingman’s Dome. For a truly unforgettable trip, visit in autumn, when the endless trees turn a vibrant orange.

Ocean Isle Beach

Ocean Isle Beach, just north of South Carolina’s Myrtle Beach, is a gem on North Carolina’s coastline. In addition to pristine sand, Ocean Isle beach comes equipped with surf schools, fine restaurants, golf clubs and even a winery. For a beach break with a little luxury, look no further.

Wrightsville Beach

A proud holder of a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, Wrightsville Beach is as calm and clean as can be. White sand slopes gently down to the Atlantic while eagle-eyed lifeguards keep the beach safe for families. A picturesque marina and pier only add to the charm.

Things to do

Blue Ridge Parkway

“Around each bend is a marvelous view. No wonder this is one of America's best places to visit.”

Biltmore Estate

“Everything you've heard about the Biltmore is true—and even more! This place is like you've never seen before.”

Cape Hatteras Lighthouse

“The lighthouse is a historic national treasure and the beaches on the east coast are unmatched. A must-visit!”

Wright Brothers National Memorial

“Totally captivated from the moment we got there. The park ranger was so passionate about the story of the Wright Brothers.”

Airlie Gardens

“Enjoy a picnic or a good book under the huge 400-year-old oak tree, or take a lazy walk around the gardens.”

Battleship North Carolina

“History lives in Wilmington, NC at the USS North Carolina. You can go stem to stern and from the bridge to below decks.”

Beautiful Apartment in Historic Downtown Area Close to all
Nice Place

It looked like a nice apartment and I was ready to enjoy my stay. However, one of my sisters and brother-in-law prepared their home for us and my sister was a little taken aback by the air BNB reservation. I decided to eat the $330.00 and keep the family peace and go stay at their home in Browns Summit. Money isn’t easy to come by but you can’t put a price on some things in life. I would stay at your property again. Take care, Rory Craftsee more

The Place on the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC
Great central location for sightseeing in NC and Virginia.

We stayed for a week and were able to venture out to Paint Bank VA, Chimney Rock, Mt Airy, Damascus Va, Banner Elk, Valle Cruces, Boone, Wilmington Race Track and alot of other area attractions. Saturday night dinner at Sarah's Place in Troutdale was a great experience. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed for a week long stay. It was perfect for our group and allowed us rest and relaxation at the fire pit each night. Weather was typical mountain forecasts for early May. We had only one evening of rain for the week. Plenty of great places to eat in Jefferson and Sparta at the local mom and pop restaurants. This is our fourth time to stay here over the past 12 years. We'll be back.see more
