“Christmas stay” A very comfortable cottage, very warm and spotlessly clean. The second bedroom might be a little cosy for 2 adults over a long period but fine for children. The owners made us welcome and responded quickly to our requests for help, including lending us extra glasses and crockery for Christmas lunch. Lots of easy, flat walking along the River Trent and around the surrounding countryside.

“4day break” The barn was perfect, it had everything that you would need, it was clean, comfortable and quiet.the owners were there if you needed them otherwise they left you alone. The big garden Infront of the house was great for the boys to play cricket and football. I would recommend this Barn to families and couples alike. Thank you for a great stay.

“Our stay !” Just arrived back home after a wonderful 3 nights at deerdale lodge, had an absolutely lovely time! The lodge is really clean, wonderful condition and has all the necessary facilities and more! Hosts Lynda and Stu were fantastic, it was my boyfriends birthday and they went out their way to buy him a bottle of prosecco and put it in an ice bucket ready for our arrival, all the finishing touches made it warm and welcoming we would definitely recommend and come again even though we are local!
