Nerja is 40 minutes drive east of Malaga along the Costa del Sol in the south of Spain. The mountains of Andalucia reach right down to the coast - there is a fantastic view of the region from the Cielo Mountain. The major attractions are the Nerja caves (in Maro) and the choice of intimate beaches as well as the main Burriana Beach.
