Formerly a small fishing village, Moraira has developed into a charming, up-market little town retaining a village atmosphere. Small colourful streets, pavement cafes and a pretty marina, complement the wide expanse of sandy beach. It has a large and multi-national resident population, and therefore remains lively throughout the year and there is an excellent selection of bars and restaurants, a lively shopping area, and a market on Fridays.
