“Absolutely fantastic place to stay, in a great location with loads to do and see.” We stayed at Casa Kathleen in the last week in June and first week of July this year. The villa lived up to our expectations and was well kept and appeared to have recently been redecorated. The villa has a lovely veranda and pool facing the coast which our 8 year old daughter used at every opportunity. The villa itself is in very good order and is furnished perfectly for holiday requirements. It's easy to find and is around an hours drive from Alicante or Valencia. There are numerous supermarkets nearby in Pego, El Vergel and Oliva where you can get supplies which in our case mainly consisted of barbecue food, salad and beer! If you want to eat out there are lots of restaurants withing 5-10mins drive which all serve excellent food. One of our favourites was the Wok Buffet in El Vergel which was an "all you can eat" for 12 euros!. We had many days on the beaches around Las Marinas and Oliva Nova but also had a few days out including hiring a speedboat out of Denia, went up the the Bio Parc Zoo in Valencia and had a return visit to the Las Fuentes Algar waterfalls. The villa is ideally situated near the E15 motorway making it easy to get to Denia, Calpe, Javea, Benidorm, Valencia etc. The booking was completely hassle free and we received excellent communication from the owner and their agent on Monte Pego making our stay very relaxing and completely problem free. We would thoroughly recommend the villa and are intending to return next year.
