“Great quiet location, excellent accommodation, owners nearby if needed” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at KV Seafront which had beautiful views with the apartment being very clean, comfy beds and with everything we could need available. A car is recommended as quite hilly but enjoyable if you like a walk, the bay is nearby and the supermarket is at the top of the hill with everything you could possibly want. Loads of good restaurants nearby either down the hill or up at the top we were spoilt for choice. Loads to do nearby, we used Comino ferry Co-op to visit Comino (the island is quite busy!) and we took the car ferry across to Gozo which was beautiful. Also visited Mdina and Valletta which were both beautiful and also the quiet bay of Xemxija. We hope to return here in the near future Thank you for a wonderful time!

“the Haven” The villa was brilliant, well equipped and large enough for 4 couples to share without being on top of each other. The swimming pool was a lovely bonus after a day of sight seeing. The views from the Haven are fantastic and the owner Fino very friendly and easily contactable. We all had a wonderful holiday, would definitely go back.

“Fantastic holiday” We stayed at this apartment for 2 weeks in Aug 16. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to come back. The property is very clean and well maintained. We stayed in one of the first floor apartments, which had a lovely view over the bay and surrounding area. Ray and Maria were very friendly and helpful whenever we had a question or query. The lack of A/C was not an issue for us. I would recommend getting a car as Mellieha isn't that big and there are some lovely places in Malta to explore.

“Indulgent” What a wonderful villa.All you could want in one place.Beautiful accomadation.Good sized pool.Great outdoor seating.Jacuzzi is a real bonus. The host is very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would definatley recommend a stay.

Absolutely Perfect family Villa in Mellieha

We stayed at June Villa which was 3 individual units which was absolutely perfect for our family group of 7 this villa could easily accommodate more. The pool was stunning and very inviting in the hot weather. Accommodation was well equipped with everything we needed and more. Complimentary basics were kindly provided by Melita the villa owner who also helped with our airport transport. It was a walk into town with many restaurants and bars. The local church was absolutely stunning day and night. We walked to Popeyes village which was a fun day out for us all. We visited Valletta which was well worth a visit and absolutely beautiful steeped in history. We also went to Buggiba. We all had a perfect holiday weather location villa pool couldn’t have asked for anything more after the awful time we have all experienced. Relaxing, comfortable accommodation

This was our first trip to Malta and unfortunately we arrived just after a thunder storm and got a little lost getting to the apartment from the airport as a result of starting out on the wrong road (our fault, stupid satnav we brought with us). Anyway, we arrived at the apartment and were easily able to locate ours as there are only 3 apartments on the site (owner, Melita, lives above) and the owner had already let us know we were in unit number 2. Unit number 2 is a 2 bedroomed unit. King size bed in one room, 3 singles in the other. Full bathroom - bath, shower, basin, loo. Hot water all the time so not reliant on solar which was great. Good kitchen - fan oven, 4 ring gas hob, extractor, fridge freezer - no dishwasher, not biggie for holiday. Plenty of pots, pans, crockery etc. Apartment was very clean & bedding was changed weekly. All apartments open straight out onto the terrace area surrounding the pool. The 1 bed apartment is tucked around the corner from the 2 x 2 bed apartments, and so has it's own more private terrace literally seconds from the pool. Both 2 bed apartments have a handy overhang outside so that you can keep out of the sun & rain (yes, it rained now & again whilst we were there). At the end of the pool area, there is a small building housing a loo in one room & a communal washing machine in the other - very useful. The set up here would be great for say, gran & grandad in the 1 bed apartment, and perhaps grown children with their own children in the other 2 apartments so that you effectively had the whole thing to yourself. The owner Melita was on hand if there were any issues. Always helpful and lovely to chat to if you needed information. Malta is big on recycling & composting etc, so there were 3 bins in the apartment to cater for this. And instructions on where & when to put the rubbish out for collection. The street that the accommodation is in is very quiet & peaceful & safe. We were always able to park on the street right by the accommodation. Believe me, you would not want to use the driveway (for owners use only) as the house is built sort of into the rock and so the driveway is STEEP. Not an issue for us, although my 4 wheeled suitcase, having a mind of its own, almost took itself from top to bottom of the driveway with me in hot pursuit! Within a 3 min drive you have a large supermarket, Wellbees. Very well stocked with anything & everything. Oddly, English products like Heinz baked beans were the same price as in UK (yes, I notice these things when foraging). Mellieha is quieter than some towns on the islands but has enough eateries to eat somewhere different every night of a 14 night break. There is a beach. There is also a Starbucks near the beach if you want it. Eating out in Malta for 2 people, no starters, mains, maybe one dessert, bottle of wine allow around 50 - 70 euro depending on restaurant and which wine. So not as cheap as somewhere like Greece. We would revisit. Probably earlier in the season when the weather was more predictable. That said, we enjoyed our outings to Valletta, Marsaxlokk (pretty boats), etc. … see more

Amazing place to stay and explore Malta.

I just wanted to send a quick email to say thanks so much for a wonderful stay at Villa Ida last week. The facilities are second to none and the welcome and customer service from Victoria was superb. When we had a few issues with bulbs outside, it was sorted within the hour and your maintenance staff were also very helpful and informative and courteous. The facilities at the villa were amazing, we were totally spoilt. We hope to return to Malta as we loved it (despite the few storms we had) and wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again. … see more

Memories Made

We travelled to Malta as a family of 15, age ranging from 2 - 69 so we rented all three villas within this beautiful setting. Each villa was immaculate, clean, very spacious and housed everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful - the children loved the space to roam around and play - and the pool area was perfect. The location was perfect, a short walk to the supermarket, shops and restaurants. We hired cars to go further a field but public transport was very reliable. Alison & Jes were the perfect hosts, offering a welcome pack on arrival with the main essentials so we didn’t have to worry about getting to the shop ASAP. They were so accommodating and friendly - nothing was ever an effort for them. We will definitely be returning to make some more magical Malta memories … see more

Great Apartment

We stayed here for 2 weeks and the apartment was fantastic. Spacious and clean with everything you could need provided. The pool was very quiet and some days we had it to ourselves. It was about a 15 minute walk to the beach and 10-20 minute walk to the restaurants depending on where you went, not recommended for those with mobility problems as it is in a very hilly area! We decided to cancel our hire car and we are glad we did, the bus service is great and cheap to get around the island and the driving is somewhat erratic in Malta so we felt much safer using Public Transport. Lucianne answered any queries and questions quickly and we went through the welcome pack on the phone to reduce any risks, she organised our taxi from the airport which was also great.
