Explore the island,apartments and villas in Majorca – Majorca (Mallorca) is the biggest of the Balearics, and its size is reflected in its diversity. Palma, the only real city in the Balearics, has wonderful Gothic architecture and grand mansions. There is also lively nightlife to be found in the Plaça Llotja area. The north of the island is dominated by the Serra de Tamuntana, with its craggy peaks and sheltered olive groves. The Plaça Major has several laid-back cafes, but the town’s unmissable attraction is the Via Crucis – a long stone stairway which ascends El Calvari north of the town. Port de Sóller is one of the west coast’s most popular resorts, with its horseshoe-shaped bay providing watersports and sun-bathing. One of the most popular coastal holiday rental destinations is Puerto Pollensa, which is a tranquil and relaxing location for the discerning holiday maker.
