“Private, Peaceful + Spacious - An excellent choice for a superb holiday” This was my third time staying here (2012, 2014 previously). First time as a couple and since then with all the family (2 teenage kids\ 1 young adult). I will definitely return again. The location is great if you want to combine pool\beach days with sightseeing as you are only 5 minutes drive away from the motorway and 10 mins to the start of Los Alcazares beach. Its a very straight forward drive from San Javier airport (3 exits). Each time I have stayed, there have been improvements made, the latest of which is a new patio area in amongst the fruit trees which we really enjoyed. One of the things I absolutely love about this place is the size of the grounds - there are a number of choices of sun-lounging areas so a large group or teen\parents will not feel on top of each other. The villa boundary is a high mostly creeper clad fence with a gate that is lockable from the inside which gives a great sense of privacy. The plants and trees give a really tropical feel to the place. Louise and Mike who manage the property are very helpful and a great source of local information. We had one issue connecting to the wifi but it was dealt with swiftly by Louise\Mike. Overall, I still feel lucky to have 'discovered' this place back in 2012 after much searching.

“Good, comfortable apartment ..... shame about the WiFi and T.V.” This is a good, comfortable apartment, nicely equipped and well located for the eateries and beach, so ideal for our ten day holiday. Unfortunately, what was not so ideal was the reliability of the T.V. and WiFi which as out of action for 7 and 5 days respectively. Also, I would replace the very tired bed linen in the twin bed room. Sorry, the black and grey duvet covers are past their best! Overall would recommend though as a lot of plus points.

“Vacation” Apartment was very clean and tidy and bigger than what we thought. Not far from main square and beach. The only thing I was disappointed with was about two weeks before we were due to leave there was a mention of a cleaning charge. It was not made clear to me whether I had to pay it and how much it was. I was a bit shocked when I was asked for 65 euros on arrival.

“Perfect for young family, you will definitely need a car.” Great apartment and on the whole clean. Some food had been left in the cupboards by previous guests which might have been helpful had the ants not found it first! We had to buy some spray but after a good clean we didn't really see any more than the odd one, and that's only to be expected. The pool was fab and quiet, some days we had it to ourselves. Roda golf itself is sprawling yet lacks restaurants and a decent supermarket so it's advisable to hire a car and drive to the main resort centre which is literally 5 minutes away. This has plenty of shops and restaurants suitable for families with young kids.

“Superb Penthouse” Having stayed at Roda a number of times this is by far the best Apartment I have stayed at!! I like it so much I'm still here now and just couldn't wait to right a review!, the apartment is superbly furnished throughout and has a real homely feel to it!. The terraces are really nicely decorated and the rooftop is like being in heaven, inside the property is really 5* with the smart televisions and furniture the apartment just oozes class. Having stayed on phase 2 and 3 before we felt a bit isolated but this location is perfect on phase 1 as it is in a prime spot close to everything i.e. Pool, club house, supermarket, bars, restaurants. Having found this Penthouse apartment I do not want to stay anywhere else and will 110% definitely be returning! If it is available!

“High end - low cost” Just returned from 7 days in late april / May. Tremendous deal from Joe for what is a really comfortable and well equipped apartment. Couldn't be faulted. First stay in Roda, will be terrific when finished, at the moment what's there is high quality but the resort has an air of those polaris ghost towns of La Torre and Mar Menor. Will be fabulous one day ..... maybe. The golf club house is the only real facility on site, nice food, decent prices, expensive shop. Course is always busy with lots of four balls who can't really play to the level it demands. Expect 5 hour rounds. Tried to play on my own but gave up after 3hrs to play 11 holes. Good quality track though. Nice looking gym available but too lazy to try it. Alcazares always a joy, great restaurants, great beach. You can walk to the precinct with the bars and cafes in about 20 to 30 mins. Not a particularly nice walk, suggest you get a car, 5 mins drive and easy parking. Lovely sea front promenade , goes on for miles. So, great apartment, Mariann and Frank very helpful. Roda , mmmmmm not sure!

“Splendid apartment.” This is a wholly splendid apartment, furnished with impeccable taste which no doubt reflects the aesthetics of the owner - whom I neither know nor have met. It was immaculately presented, and everything for which one might wish was available - even a garlic press for those who cook - I do not! It is ideally located within Roda Golf, and the village of Roda - which now has a supermarket- is a pleasant stroll in distance. A short-term visitor can enjoy the absolute benefits of this excellent abode, with the only expected obligation being to respect it for the duration of one's stay. I thoroughly commend this apartment.

“Home from home - but with sun and a pool...” Firstly let me say the Vivienne, (the owner), is an wonderful communicator and she provides a very comprehensive document which lists absolutely everything you need to stay in the resort/apartment. My family and i have stayed on Roda in numerous other accommodations and Vivienne was by far the most complete host we have experienced. The apartment is in a great location and is very secure and spacious for a family to enjoy. The pool is right next to the building and the roof terrace is an absolute dream to relax on with a nice beverage or two. The apartment has everything you will need from a plethora of kitchen utensils, cooler boxes and even lots of 3 pin Uk plug adapters. It really is marvelously convenient. Also Vivienne allowed us the use of two bikes in the under ground car park lockup - which was a great way to see Roda from another perspective. Overall this is the best apartment we have stayed in on Roda, thanks to the careful attention of the owners. i wont hesitate to book again. Thanks Vivienne.
