“Great Stay Even in Rainy November” We booked knowing that November had the potential to be rainy and cold and we were not wrong. Despite the bad weather the villa was warm and snug, catching the sun’s rays thus lighting and warming the inside. The view over the cove is wonderful and we were able to lie in bed watching the wind, rain whipping up waves in the sea. There is plenty to do locally, even out of season, and much of it and cafes are dog-friendly. We found the peace and quiet that we wanted and were able to sit and read or watch tv in comfort. Our dogs were happy and loved the close proximity of woodland and beach. The villa is fully furnished to a very high standard, beautifully coordinated and fully equipped with Freeview tv, WiFi, hob & oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer etc.... There electric radiators in each room and even with a raging storm outside we were perfectly snug and warm. There is an on-site dog-friendly Cafe by the beach, where we had a delicious lunch. Just at the top of the road there is an award winning fish & chip shop/restaurant. We tried it out early in the week and rebooked for our last evening. It was exceptionally good fish & chips but there were several other things on the menu besides fish. The fishing village/small town of Looe is a few minutes by car down the road or a good step along the coastal path. Looe has shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants and is a charming place to sit on the quayside with a drink and watch the world go by. The downside to a November visit is looking out at the villa’s terrace and wishing it was summer and warm enough to bbq, sunbathe and really enjoy the beautiful view. We left wanting to return again and will definitely re book.

“Perfect peaceful base to explore this part of Cornwall. We loved it.” Well equipped, spotlessly clean accommodation in a peaceful location. Great views from the terrace, the owners even provided binoculars which were great for looking out to sea and for spotting deer on the hillsides. You definitely need a car to explore the lovely seaside villages of Looe, Polperro and Fowey. You can walk to Looe but need to be reasonably fit for the SW coastal path's ups and downs. Hope to return one day.

“Mr” Lovely cottage well equipped with everything you needed lovely welcome from the owners a very nice welcome pack consisting of a cream tea and milk, eggs, home made bread and lots of other goodies too many to list a yummy cake as a surprise on Wednesday also treats for our dog as well she wasn't forgotten about there's a nice courtyard with a gate which makes it secure so you can let your dog wander around nice walk through the garden with a lovely lake which is well stocked with a variety of course fish there is also a field which you take your dog around we really enjoyed our stay at the court and will be booking again for the spring next year you would not be disappointed if you stayed there

“Mrs” Wonderful! What a fabulous stay we had at The Owl! We were greeted with a delicious home made afternoon tea which went down a treat after a long journey! Tracy and Geoff have thought of everything and were always on hand should we have needed them - we will definitely be coming back....sooner the better!

“9 Rock Towers, Looe - Excellent” The apartment was lovely, very clean and had everything you need. The views from the open plan dining room/living room / kitchen were stunning as was the view from the main bedroom. A five minute walk to the West side of the harbour and then a further 10 mins to all the amenities of the east side. Note the property is at the top of a small hill. There is an allocated parking spot and a lift in the building. Unfortunately the only downfall was the first night where it was found the main bedrooms double bed duvet cover, bed sheet and pillow cases had been put on the bed very damp and totally unusable. It was late when we noticed and had to strip down the bed and use a spare single bed duvet etc to get by but was not ideal. The property does have a tumble drier in an outbuilding but it’s a pound for 15 mins. This cost a couple of pound the next day and had to remake the bed. Not something I wanted from a holiday! But this was just a small upset. Pointed out as the owners may want to contact the cleaners as they must have known!! All in all was an excellent holiday in a lovely apartment in an excellent location. Highly recommended.
