“Great location, great service.... just great!” I have stayed at this flat on a number of different occassions and have allways been happy with my stay. If you want somewhere with a great location and facilities in the center of London without the overpiced cost of a hotel then this place is for you.

“Home away from Home” This is our third stay at Archer House and it is looking very smart with new carpets and blinds, such a comfortable place to be after the hustle and bustle of days out . We are now very switched on with the buses which we like to travel around on as you get a much better idea of where everything is and see so much more, lovely to be able to cook an easy meal after a long day out , the 170 will take you down to Clapham Junction where there is a very good Waitrose for all your shopping needs. Defiantly our Home away from Home.

“unbelivable flat, great location” We travelled with our young children from Australia and just loved the apartment. We were able to walk to everywhere from tube stations, taxi stands, pubs, the london eye, etc, etc. It was just so central. The aparment was spacious and in very good condition. Communication with the owners was excellent and I highly recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to the UK. Thanks again we had a wonderful time.

“Large comfortable apartment in quiet London suburb” I stayed for 10 days with my wife and 11 month old baby. The apartment is very comfortable and warm. It is very big for London and also very quiet. It is well located being close to a bus stop which can take you to Kensington Museums and into Oxford Circus. There is an overground train close and buses to Clapham Common which will get to you to the tube in 10 minutes. Clapham Common is great for cafes and the park is lovely to run around. Also Brixton is close by which has colourful markets and many cool places to eat and drink. Battersea Park is within walking distance and is wonderful for kids. There is a well equipped convenience store about 50 metres from the apartment and a couple of larger supermarkets within 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes by bus. Suzie was very helpful when we arrived and throughout our stay. I would recommend this apartment to other travellers.

“Very comfortable, homey atmosphere in an excellent quiet neighborhood.” This rental is in fact a real home, with comfortable furniture and appointments one might expect in an upscale London residence. The courtyard just outside the TV room, and viewable from the kitchen, is a highlight, with a water feature, landscaping, ample room for guests, and unusual privacy. The fully equipped kitchen has up-to-date appliances and all the utensils, dishware, and cookware one could need. The location is convenient to tube and bus routes, as well as restaurants, patisseries, and small grocery stores. An electric clothes dryer would be a nice addition, but there are ample drying racks to complement the electric clothes washing machine. We would return.

“Fabulous apartment, clean, tidy and with everything you need -great location” On the first floor with views of Covent Garden streets - right in the middle of many restaurants, friendly pubs, shops and transport. So close to many of London attractions. We had fabulous stay after being met by our host who gave us a full run briefing of the flat and the Covent Garden area. Really appreciated the hot bath and a comfortable queen size bed after a long flight from Australia. The flat was very cleanand well presented with a very well equipped and stocked kitchen. Excellent wifi connection. We would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to explore London while experiencing some local culture.

“Great apartment, fantastic location, wonderful service.” We loved our stay in Ian's apartment. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a most enjoyable stay. The Highbury location is fantastic - a really nice neighbourhood with restaurants, bars, shops etc and a short 10-15 minute walk to two tube stations. Ian was very friendly and helpful, quick to respond to emails, and Warren his property manager was also a pleasure to deal with. This will definitely be our first choice to stay when we are next back in London.

“The welcome, comfort, perfect food, location aesthetic fun and lovelines make this a perfect place to stay.s” Located just near Stepney Green Station and a bus straight to St Pancras, this is a perfectly situated B and B or self catering spot for London. It's such a surprise to be surrounded by trees and birds with the lovely view of the garden too. The hosts are warm, welcoming, genuinely attentive to your needs. The bedroom and beautiful bathroom are luxurious. The fun of the eclectic decor is visually pleasing and makes the stay 'an experience'. Alejando's breakfast was brilliant - fresh everything and served with imagination. Alejandro and David make you feel at home. Every last detail has been thought of.

London holidays

According to Dr Samuel Johnson, “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life”. 300 years later, and his words still ring true. A thriving historic and multicultural melting pot, England’s capital city lures you in with one world-famous attraction after another. And there are plenty of hidden gems to discover, too.

All The World In One Place

London truly is an international city, thrilling in its cultural diversity. Nowhere is that more evident than in the authentic cuisine available from every corner of the globe. From all-night nosh in Chinatown to top-notch street food in Camden and Borough Markets, it’s a round-the-world trip for your tastebuds.

Landmark Central

Where to start on a sightseeing tour of London? Will it be the imposing Tower of London, the refined Covent Garden, or the vibrant Piccadilly Circus? Or maybe you’re dying to have a nose around Buckingham Palace... One thing’s for sure: from the depths of the London Dungeon to the dizzying heights of The Shard, there’s no shortage of places to add to your itinerary.

The Show Must Go On

London’s famous West End is home to many of the world’s most-loved musicals, including the long-running Les Miserables. The posters, adverts and beautiful theatres of Shaftesbury Avenue create a kaleidoscope that is not to be missed by any visitor to the capital. For more historical drama, see Shakespeare’s works performed at the replica Globe Theatre on the South Bank.

Top Destination reviews

Charming studio very central. Excellent reviews.
Ideal location

Had a really nice stay here. It is, very central and everything you need is close by, shops, supermarkets, theatres, restaurants, the tube and more... all in walking distance. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. There is a fridge, microwave, kettle stove top, (no oven) and a washing machine? The cushions on the sofa were a bit uncomfortable, even so, I would still recommend this apartment if you want to spend some time in the capital, it is so easy to get from one place to the next. A nice little apartment that we will be returning to in the future.see more
Modern Studio Apartment, South West London
Great Stay

My boyfriend & I booked the flat for a month and it was a great stay. The location is perfect, next to Tooting Common and a 12 min walk from the Northern line (Tooting Bec station). The flat is small, but suitable for a couple and has all the amenities you need, including off road parking which is a massive bonus. Host is very helpful, ensuring we had all the information required and overall would highly recommend!see more

Windermere House
Perfect House for a stay in London

As a family we had to travel from Ireland to London where my husband was having surgery. After many weeks of trying to find accommodation I finally came across Windemere House in Ealing. It appeared to be the perfect match for what we were looking for. This house is amazing and ticked every single box for a comfortable, easy stay especially in the circumstances we were in. It is so comfortable and has absolutely everything needed for either a long or short stay. There are three big bedrooms and one single. The attic bedroom is like an apartment with ensuite bathroom (with a walk in shower) and a tv. The quality of the bedlinen was excellent. The kitchen is really well equipped with a fantastic cooker, a huge fridge freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc etc. There was so much cutlery, cooking utensils, plates etc which is so important as sometimes when you book somewhere these can be lacking. There is a lovely big table and chairs in the kitchen/dining area. The living area is very comfortable with two big settees and a satellite tv. The area where the house is located is very quiet and you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. The WIFI in the house is brilliant and never dropped. Two of the people staying were working and had no problems whatsoever with it. The house is literally a seven minute walk from Northfields tube station where you can get the tube (Piccadilly line) into the centre of London in around 30 minutes. Northfields is also only a short distance from Heathrow so the location of the house is ideal if you are flying into there. The main street is five minutes from the house and there are a great selection of restaurants, coffee shops and also a Sainsbury and Tesco express store. About a twenty minute walk brings you to Ealing Broadway where there is a huge selection of shops and restaurants. Lammas Park is right beside the house and lovely for a walk. There are so many positives to this house - if you're thinking of booking it do it!! Now for Vanessa. What can I say about her that hasn't been said before!! From the moment I made an enquiry regarding booking Windemere House she was nothing but helpful. We were very anxious about our trip and Vanessa put our minds to rest. When she met us at the house she couldn't have been nicer and explained things to us in a concise way with regards to the house. It made such a difference to be greeted with such friendliness and kindness. During our stay she was at the end of the phone for any queries we had and she pointed us in the right direction regarding travel options including an excellent local cab services and restaurant recommendations. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Vanessa - Aileen, Billy, Emma & Peter.see more
The Old Shoemaker's Shop: Great flat in London Zone 2
Perfect little spot in London

This flat has a very convenient location for accessing Central London and trains in and out of the city. Susie is an excellent host and communicator. The kitchen space was great and fully stocked with cooking equipment. The sofa bed worked well for our kids while the bedroom downstairs with the large, comfortable bath tub, was perfect for our needs. We will stay at the Old Shoemaker’s Shop again if we return to London. Thanks for a great stay!see more
