“Beautiful flat!” My husband and I recently stayed for 4 nights. The flat is so charming and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. It has beautiful views of the mountains and has everything you need. They even had milk in the fridge and cookies for us. There was tea and coffee in the pantry which was great because we didn't feel like going to the store the day we arrived so that allowed us to get through until next morning. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in their flat. It really is beautifully restored.

“A spectacular setting” We spent the best part of a week at Fort Augustus. It is a unique place and the views down Loch Ness are unrivalled. The flat was well furnished and comfortable. Everything you need is provided. All essentials can be bought in the shops in Fort Augustus. Those unsteady on their feet should note there are three flights of stairs to climb to get to the flat (no lift). The Boathouse restaurant in the grounds was very good. When we were there, building works were still going on on the site. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

About Loch Ness
Loch Ness is the second-largest Scottish loch by surface area, but the largest by volume, reaching a depth of 755 ft. But there’s more to the area than legends; you’ll find several pretty towns and villages nearby, as well as ancient castles and stunning landscapes.
What to Do

The best way to see Loch Ness is by boat, and there are cruises departing regularly from the shores of the loch. For the best views, take a trip at sunset to see the sun setting over the water.
