“Little gem in the heart of Grasmere , Lake District” We booked the cottage for group of 10 people( 2 nights )for our holiday.But due to rail strike , we decided to stay an extra day but unfortunately the cottage was fully booked for extending our stay there . While we decided to get help from the cottage owner /manager , Chris has been really helpful . He managed to get us a hotel room nearby for entire group at discounted price . We had kids so they loved the place . The cottage itself was a gem in the heart of Grasmere. Very clean and tidy large rooms. Large living space , garden with view to hills . Kids can run around and play. Close to local attractions. From the first day , the communication has been great with Chris . He really helped us out with ease . Can’t thank him enough. Reception staff were also warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful time . We will definitely be coming back . I would recommend to anyone if looking to have quality peaceful relaxing time to go there and enjoy.

“Mrs” Beautiful Hall..lovely grounds..peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room had everything we needed for a birthday break for three nights stay in total calm and tranquillity. “Very nice” Spent 4 days at the White Cross Bay Park in a private rental. Log cabin was spotless and well maintained. The park is positioned well so you can get to many places easily. Situated right on the lake. Check in was easy and although we did not use any of the Parkdean facilities we had an enjoyable stay.

“Stunning property, great location, would recommend to everyone” Just got home from 20 Queen St, I stayed 4 nights with my son (15) and daughter (11), we had a fabulous time, the house is stunning, it has a great relaxing vibe, and the comfiest holiday place we have ever stayed anywhere, and the most well equipped, spread over 4 floors and screams quality! the first thing my daughter said is can we live here! My son hooked up is ps3 and away he went. Ulverston has it's charms too and is located close to most of what the Lakes has to offer. If you are planning a Lakes trip, you can't go wrong here, book it now!

“"Perfect" ��” What a delightful place to stay. You are surrounded by a wonderful standered of luxury in the most tranquil and peaceful location you could wish for. We are a little fussy I admit and have checked out of many hotels etc.... We must return to this lodge as we truly feel like we have had a break. Plenty of local pubs within 5-20mins. Great beer & food. The Lake District all within 20-30 mins drive and the nest if luxury and peace when you return. Please do not think too hard or you may miss the location of a lifetime. We LOVED this place and will return hopefully many times. You will NOT be disappointed. Thankyou

“Beautiful lodge in a beautiful location” My husband and I stayed here with our 2 boys for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The lodge is gorgeous and very private. It is well equipped with everything that you could need. There is so much to do on the doorstep that we will definitely be back to explore more.

“Perfect retreat” Booked the lodge just 2 days prior to going. Booking experience absolutely fine. Received all details and critical key code the night prior to travel. Arrived and check in no problem. The lodge was exceptionally clean and everything you would have at home. Some basic essentials in toilet and kitchen. Tried WiFi but really slow and I mean really slow even my phone could only get 3G ( remember that?? ) site was lovely by the lake with shop and bar / restaurant (did not try) All in all a great break and would recommend to anyone of all ages and many thanks to Ian and Anneka
