“Peace and quiet in the countryside” I just loved my stay in Brittany at La Chaumiere! Thank you to Jeanine and Greg for the gorgeous collection of local foods waiting when we arrived. All the linen and cleaning products and toiletries we needed were there waiting too, which was great, we didn’t need to try and fit all these extras in our cabin luggage on flights! The cottage was gorgeous, so full of character and history. It easily accommodated our party and was easy to cook in and entertain ourselves. It was too easy to pick up pastries in Languidic every morning and we also enjoyed bustling around in Hennebont at the markets. I ate far too much Breton Cake while staying but loved working it off by riding along the river and swimming in the heated pool at La Garenne. I still want to go and visit Carnac so will definitely be staying again.
