“Superclean apartments and friendly hosts, very good memories!” Very clean apartments, really thoroughly cleaned, not just superficialy wiped. House is in a residential neigbourhood, parking right on the spot. Great nature nearby, perfect for jogging or walks by the sea. Wonderful garden with all sorts of flowers and veggies and herbs. We had some home grown tomatoes and basil was growing in the flowerpots on the terrace! And there is a grill house! Very inspirational for cooking.

“Wonderful location for a relaxing holiday” The location of this apartment is more than perfect - between Veli and Mali Losinj, so we did not have to use the car at all except for bigger shopping trips. All along the walking path between two little towns there are pine trees which give a nice shade during the whole day. Only for the evening walks we would recommend bringing a flashlight. The neighbourhood was quiet and we almost didn't hear anyone - and we spent a lot of time in the apartment since the beach is so close. The studio apartment is wonderfully and practically furnished and felt like home! The cleanliness of the apartment is at a very high level. The balcony with a beautiful view towards the pines, rocks and the sea was my favourite place to read books in the mornings. Rocky but not too crowded beach is just underneath the apartment. We found a nice rock which gave us shade in the afternoons - so we could enjoy at the beach even during the hottest sun. Mrs Zlovic and her husband are more than good hosts. Simply put - I would recommend it! When we decide to come to Losinj island next time, which I hope will be in the next few years, we will not look for other accommodation - we will book Mrs Zlovic's apartment again!

“On the green island” Why do I, for 10 years already, stay at this property owned by Mrs Zlovic in Valdarke, near Mali Losinj. The apartment is located exactly halfway between Mali and Veli Losinj, in a pine wood just 10 m from the sea. Its biggest advantages (apart from the wood and the sea) are a big terrace on which one can spend a better part of the day (and night) while in the house I have all the comfort needed - well equipped kitchen, bathroom, big living room and 2 nice size bedrooms. By the sea, just beneath the house is a wonderful walkway which leads from Mali to Veli Losinj and is ideal for walks, running, cycling and has a beautiful view towards the open sea and islands Rab and Cres, as well as mount Velebit in the distance. For those more adventurous and sporty on the back side of the house there is a climbing/hiking path which goes up to St.Ivan's peak (300 m high) which has a wonderful 360 degrees view. From the peak one can go down to the south side of the island populated with lovely secluded bays. The shops in Mali and Veli Losinj are well stocked, especially in Mali Losinj which is the biggest town on all Croatian islands, although I still prefer Veli Losinj which has a local rustic feel to it - and has kept its 19th century fishermen and sailors' village look, with some fine seafood restaurants especially on the coastline of the fisherman area in Rovenska village. The area around this rental offers a variety of natural and cultural amenities which is for me ideal for a great vacation.
