Enjoy the weather and scenery of Sicily in a superb active olive oil and wine producing estate overlooking stunning Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. The property is quiet and has breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and all the amenities of a 21st century lifestyle. It is close to the beach, medieval villages, and ancient ruins; and, of course, an active volcano. It is an ideal villa for a group of friends or a large extended family and is equally suited for relaxing days around the pool, hiking along the many trails or sightseeing at the local destinations. (6 hectares) It is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, immediately around the villa are grassy expanses and a private garden of about 3,000 m2. The Manor house dates back to 1870, has three levels and smooth exterior walls. There is a tennis court that can be easily booked upon request. The private salt water pool, with panoramic views, is L-shaped, and measures 15 meters x 6 meters. There are numerous sun loungers. There are outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining or simply enjoying the outdoors. Several paths lead down through the vineyards and the olive trees and to a historic park. There is plenty of parking (up to 12 cars) on the property. Located outside of the town of Positano, this Amalfi Coast vacation rental is perfect for those who enjoy exercise through walking and climbing stairs, as well as taking in beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. For those who would like the chance to get to know the locals, this villa near Positano is a good choice, because the owners are very hospitable and friendly. This lovely villa is situated below the coastal road in a very quiet position high on a cliff overlooking the sea and the small islands of I Galli. The two floors of the villa are connected via an external staircase and have use of a large sun roof terrace which is adorned with potted flowers, sun loungers, swings, rocking iron chair with cushions, and dining tables. There is a private bean-shaped swimming pool (open April 19-October 18, 2014). Parking is available on the main road above the house. There are ninety-three steps leading from the road down to the entrance. Three Bedroom Detached Private Villa Central Tuscany Situated in a beautiful position on a pretty estate in the heart of the Tuscany with wonderful views of the verdant hills all around is Villa Cassiopea. Originally a barn, it has now been fully restored into a beautiful private villa with its own swimming pool and garden. Casa Briza is a graceful apartment that covers the entire ground floor of a villa which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps six people. From Casa Briza you will enjoy an enchanting view over Sorrento , the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius and of the hills of Sorrento. Casa Briza is 120 square meters (1290 square feet). It features a panoramic private terrace with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating. You will be roughly 4 km (2.5 miles) from Sorrento, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant at 500 meters (550 yards), a grocery store at 400 meters (440 yards) and the closest beach at 3 km (roughly 1.86 miles). Casa Briza is located on the ground floor. You will reach it from the parking area along a short public route that cuts through a courtyard and includes approximately five stairway steps. To stay at Casa Briza you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a reserved parking space. The parking space is suitable for at most two cars. Please note that access to Casa Briza is along a narrow road, not suitable for large SUVs, motorhomes, caravans. The terrace is 40 square meters (430 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs and sun loungers. From the terrace you will enjoy a gorgeous view over Sorrento, the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius and of the surrounding countryside. The garden is 60 square meters (645 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees. It is equipped with four deck chairs. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. The furnishings of the living room are warm and elegant. The furnishings include a sofa. In this room you will find an upright piano(please contact us before making your reservation if you plan to use the piano, as we need to make sure that it is in working order). In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is spacious and comfortable, equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. In this room you will find a television, a DVD player and a CD player with FM radio. Firdaus 100X is an award winning, very secure, Alang Alang Rice Barn style villa. The villa is rented as a two bedroom ground floor rental. Payment security is enhanced by the use of PayPal.. Hire of seven days or more include a 'Free Airport Pickup'. A fully refundable US$200 deposit, subject to breakages, is now collected due to the failure of a previous guest honour system failure. The ground floor has 2 air conditioned spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, both bathrooms have an inside and outside shower, with own hot water system. Each bedroom has a 42 inch flat screen cable TV and DVD player, the main bedroom has a Smart internet TV connected to the WIFI . A Rollaway bed is available at no extra charge. The whole villa has free high speed DDSL WIFI, flat screen cable TVs, and a DVD players. All areas have international 'multi' electrical sockets that allow for international plug connection without the need for any plug converter. The completely self contained villa is located a short distance down a small secure gang (alleyway) which has room for the ubiquitous motorbike. This modern touch of 'paradise' is less than a minute from the multiplicity of high end shops and restaurants on the well known JL Laksmana/Oberoi 'eat street', (see location map in photo section). An adequate supply of taxis are available at the end of the gang make up for the non access for motor cars. Day hire of an air conditioned car and driver may be made for very reasonable rates. A fanciful pedestrian gate ushers you through Symbio's lushly-landscaped grounds and into the entry foyer, which is inlaid with a polished stone compass rose. So very sophisticated and elegant, Symbio celebrates superb artistic design and detailed fine-craftsman execution throughout every space of this stunning two-bedroom, fully air-conditioned villa set on two-thirds of an acre. On Symbio's main floor, a beautifully-furnished Great Room shares space with a stunning open-plan gourmet kitchen and dining area. This barn conversion is located in an area of peace and tranquility with views to the River Caldew. You can even bring your pony with stabling available and the owners are happy to guide you on local treks. The fell side village of Hesket Newmarket is located on the edge of the national park in the Caldbeck fells and has a shop and The Old Crown Inn which produces its own ales. Caldbeck is 5 miles to the west with village shop, pubs and cafe. For the more energetic there is fell walking, cycling and pony trekking along the Skiddaw range which leads to Keswick. Ullswater and Keswick are both within a 20 minute drive where a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants await. Little Bay Barn is a quaint, quirky barn conversion that exudes peace and tranquility, located between Hesket Newmarket (2.5 miles) and Mungrisdale (3 miles), the barn sits within an 11 acre field sloping down to the River Caldew. Situated in a truly rural location Grayrigg Foot Stable offers a chance to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst still being close to the many villages and towns of the Lake District as well as the Yorkshire Dales. Grayrigg is a small traditional Lakeland village just 5 miles north of Kendal and 8 miles south west of Sedbergh with their abundance of shops, restaurants and tea rooms. Within a 20 minute drive are the more frequented villages of Windermere, Bowness and Grasmere. The property has been lovingly renovated by the owners, using local craftsmen, the old stones and beams from the original building have been restored and the cottage retains many of the original features of the barn once used as stables and pig sty. Attention to detail has been paid in every room, furnished with a blend of traditional furnishings and in a contemporary style, the Inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove, the old stable divides now create a relaxing dining area all help to give a warm and welcoming ambience.
