“AMAZING POSITION LOVELY WARM COMFORTABLE COULD GO ON AND ON” I, along with friends, have stayed at this lovely house many times. It is our sanctuary away from everyday life. All rooms are tastefully decorated. Such a comfortable place to stay. Lovely garden too overlooking the sea - the perfect spot to have that morning coffee or evening drink!! Take a walk along the front into Exmouth via the gardens. Definitely recommend this.

“Excellent "Home from Home" Accommodation” Pilot Cottage is located just around the corner & within view of the seafront, near the old fishing area and the new marina.The walk along the Esplanade is level and has beautiful views of the estuary and the coastline and the walk into Exmouth shopping centre is also level. There are very good restaurants, pubs and cafes within minutes of Pilot Cottage. Pilot Cottage itself is very well equipped and comfortable with a happy vibe. We loved it!!

“Location, Location, Location....oh and fantastic House!!!” What a fantastic week we have just had at this property, where I think the descrption doesnt do it justice and the pictures are quite old with some updates since they were taken. Firstly the location, right on the coast/river exe, with fantastic views from the garden, 1st floor balcony and bedroom balcony. Waking up to that view each day was worth the money alone. You are 3 mins from a bustling little quay, with working fishing boats and ferrys a fantastic fish shop, cafes and bars and a great atmosphere. We went off on our paddle boards and kayaks oppposite the house which was very handy and we could store them in the garden. The house is also great and comfortably housed my family party of five adults. Great sized bedrooms. There is 2.5 bathrooms, but be advised there is only one power shower in the en suite with the other bathroom having a low pressure mixer which did make it a bit difficult for some guests to shower, so there was a queue for the ensuite. No real problem though. The living room has a HD tv with a great picture, and loads of DVDs to watch, not too mention books to read. The couch was a bit strange in being quite shallow, only seating 2 really and could probably do with replacing as felt quite old, but there are plenty of other chairs to use. The Kitchen was well stocked with a large area to dine together which we did three times. There is no TV in the kitchen but a huge amount of games to use should you have poorer weather, and we used our Ipad on Skygo. Wifi is good throughout the house. Car parking is for one car with a large dedicated space, with another car park being a 7 min walk away at a longstay which felt very safe, and quite reasonable at £6 a day. Neighbours are very friendly as well. Do not hesitate on this property, book it..!
