“The perfect retreat” We chose to visit Skye at the end of the season to enjoy peace and quiet in this wonderful landscape. We picked this cottage because it seemed to fit the bill, which it did, perfectly. Set in a beatiful and quiet location with glorious views of the Trotternish range it offered everything we had hoped for. It is furnished with a tastefully combined blend of old and new furniture and is obviously put together with love and care down to the last deatail. It is very comfortable with efficient heating, a really comfy bed and a lovely bathroom with superb shower and bath.We felt very much at home there. The owner Jeannie, who lives in the other half, is a warm and generous person who is also a fund of local knowledge and made us feel very welcome.A perfect holiday.

“Excellent” House was well equipped, everything we needed was there. Nice and warm, good heating system which we needed as weather wasn't that good.Clean and tidy. Super location. Everything went without a hitch. Will be staying there again.

“Absolutely wonderful” From start to finish, absolutely loved it. We received a very warm welcome, and were made to feel at home. The facilities were a cut above the rest and we wanted for nothing. The area and surroundings are amazing and so stunningly beautiful. The gardens surrounding the two buildings are spectacular and the abundance of really tasty apples is amazing.

“Absolutely Perfect Place to Stay” A very warm welcome on arrival by Ang. It was obvious from the start that we would thoroughly enjoy our stay. The cottage is ideally placed so you have privacy but not isolated. Although we didn’t need to bother Ang for anything it was very clear that nothing would be too much trouble. The fridge was stocked with fresh eggs, milk and lovely local cheese. Fresh bread and biscuits as well as dog treats was a lovely surprise. The cottage was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated. I could live there quite easily and comfortablely! The underfloor heating and not forgetting the superb log burner were taken full advantage of! We absolutely loved the place. And so did our dog! With a private and very secure garden overlooking a field with sheep. Just really added to the already stunning feel of the place. I’ve stayed in quite a few lodges/cottages but this place really does stand out from the rest. Although the pictures on here are lovely, you really do need to stay here to really appreciate how gorgeous this place is. I now have to buy some of the smellies (smelled gorgeous) that are in the spa-like bathrooms! It really was like a spa experience under the waterfall shower! Thank you Ang. A very welcome retreat indeed. I’m sure we will be back! That’s if you’ll have us again!

“Broad haven Cottage” Very well laid out cottage and really nicely decorated. Great welcome and very friendly owners including their dog . Great view from bedroom window of horses in the field next door. Only five minute car drive to the beach.
