Situated in a residential square with access to community gardens, is this colourful 3 bedroom family home in Vauxhall, South West London. This neighbourhood is favoured for its proximity to the River as well as to the West End and Westminster which can be reached in just 10 minutes on the Underground or 20 minutes by bus. On the ground floor of the house is the main living room looking out over the front street. With bright yellow walls, a comfortable sofa and a fireplace, this inviting room offers a place to put your feet up and relax after a day in the City! The sofa can also be made into a double bed to accommodate two guests comfortably. The main corridor leads you further to the laundry room at the rear of the house, with its access to a small paved outdoor area. The communal gardens can be accessed separately, by walking around the block to the main gate. The laundry/utilities room is fully equipped with a washing machine and heated dryer etc. The family bathroom on the ground floor is fitted with a small bathtub/shower and square basin. On the first floor of the house there is a very handy laundry shoot to the left, and then a bedroom with bold blue walls and a balcony looking over the gardens. The room is furnished with a single bed and an en suite shower enclosure. There is a separate WC powder room next door to the bedroom. Across the hall is the spacious master bedroom with very large windows overlooking the front street, and letting in generous amounts of natural light. It is decorated stylishly with a king-sized bed, pretty hanging lights and a silver feature wall with a decorative fireplace. Its en suite bathroom has green Moroccan tiling and offers the comfort of both a bath and a separate shower enclosure. On the second floor is the third bedroom, tastefully finished in red with a single bed (as well as a single muji mattress), dressing table and an en suite walk-in shower. This room has a lovely balcony offering wonderful views of the communal gardens. There is a separate WC next door for convenience. Across the hall is the open-plan eat-in kitchen which makes excellent use of space and light. The bulk of the room is taken up by a sitting and dining area, with a large benched table (able to seat up to 10) and gorgeous upholstered seating. Tucked to one side is a compact little kitchen, equipped with a Falcon range cooker and dishwasher amongst other up-to-date facilities. It is centred with a tall cocoa tree stretching all the way up to the roof! Another short flight of stairs will take you to a stunning roof terrace which has built-in Barbecue! Guests will love dining al fresco on those sunny afternoons/evenings, or simply enjoying the fresh air and pretty rooftop views. You're a short walk to The Oval (for the cricket) and Vauxhall Bridge. A picturesque walk to the South Bank (for attractions such as the London Eye and the London Aquarium) is within easy reach, and the Tate Britain and Imperial War Museum not far either. Opposite the road approaching the development is the beautiful community graden, the upkeep of which all the locals take much pride in. There is a childrens playground and plenty of space within which you could take an evening or early morning walk. Another larger community garden can be found through the corridor at 37 Bonnington Square. This property is less than 10 minutes walk from Vauxhall Underground and mainline stations. Located on the Victoria line you'll be directly transported to Green Park (Royal Academy, Fortnum& Mason) and onto Oxford Street in less than 10 minutes! There's also a bus station where you can catch buses directly up to South Kensington to take in the popular Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert museums. The mainline station takes you to Waterloo and Richmond or Windsor as well as other destinations in the South-West.
