“Relaxing, clean place in a great location.” My wife and I were very impressed with the perfect presentation of the acommodation, everything was nice clean and fresh on arrival. It was as if the place had just been renovated. It is located in a beutiful part of a fantastic historical town with things to do for everyone. I am happy to recommend to all of my friends.

“Magical property, totally amazing views. Loved everything about it!” We rented this property as a group of three families (16 of us in all!) & from the moment we arrived we could not have felt more at home! The house itself is simply stunning and has been renovated/re-decorated beautifully. It was spacious and very clean. All of the guest rooms were a delight and the added touches of iPod doc's & universal phone chargers in each room were brilliant. We stayed for 3 weeks and the first couple of days the weather was a bit miserable but none of us had ever been to a house that provided so much in house entertainment!!! There were 9 children in our party and there were so many cupboards stuffed full with boardgames/toys/jigsaws etc that our little ones were always happy!!! The outside dining areas were well thought out and as there were several we got into a routine of breakfast at one, lunch at another and then, depending on the heat, dinner at a third!! Obviously, the pool was a hit with all of our children & the views are breathtaking. One of the most amazing things about this property is it's location. With all of us coping with busy lives and living on main roads!!! The quietness was total bliss! Maybe upto 5 cars driving passed (on a busy day!) We just loved being away from everything and therefore totally relaxing. This is the perfect property to just kick back and relax! We ate (too much!), drank (far too much!!) and possibly relaxed more than ever before on a rental holiday. We would definately recommend La coutancie and will be hoping to return again in the next few years! Also, a thanks to Robert for all his assistance and efficiency with booking/paying and for proving us with so much local information, it was very much appreciated. “Perfect vacation rental” We stayed at La Maison Breuil for a week in June. The house is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you might need. There is a large Carrefour supermarket in Sarlat where we bought everything that we needed. We drove to the different villages during the day- most within 10 minutes drive. We also went canoeing down the Dordogne for 3 hours. In the evenings we could walk to town to have dinner in one of the many lovely restaurants. Our teenage boys enjoyed the Dordogne area very much with all the activities available and also enjoyed the pool at the property. The free wi-fi was also great to keep them busy on their iPods. I can recommend this property without any reservations. The house is comfortable and well decorated for a family of four. The booking process was easy and I contacted Paula with a few other questions that she helped me with. We will definitely try to return to this house and the Dordogne region in the future.
