“Everything you would ever need to have a great holiday” The accommodation was spotless and within easy access to Glenties. The people we met we're very friendly and helpful. Our old dog had a whole garden to himself and he loved sleeping by the peat fire. The fridge had milk and bread and there was plenty of tea and coffee available in the cupboard. Highly recommended

“Perfect in every way.” We have just returned from a wonderful break at The Thatch. The cottage is immaculate inside and out, we couldn't have asked for anymore. Carmel and Brian were so welcoming and every detail had be thought of. We would highly recommend this property , you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to visiting again.

“An idyllic setting,excellent facilities and very helpful hosts.” I would highly recommend millstone cottages number 3. The facilities were excellent the jacuzzi and sauna got plenty of use. The kids climbing frame and zip line was also a favourite. The grounds of the house gave plenty of scope for ball games. The house itself was beautiful and very homely. The beds were very comfortable. As for Danny and Dolores they were very helpful and friendly and advised us of local attractions and places to eat. We very much hope to return.

“Great find!” I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding in Harvey's point with a group of friends. What a great find. It was so reasonable (especially compared with the price of hotels in the area). The owner Gareth was nothing but helpful despite a late night wake up call for directions really late on the night of arrival. The house itself is amazing and the setting was gorgeous too. It probably helped that the weather was really nice. A car would be a definite plus if you were staying here. The taxi had no problem dropping us home from Harvey's Point after the wedding but you wouldn't want to be making too much of them trips given the fact that the taxi drivers don't believe in using meters and can tend to be a little pricey. This is not the house's fault though! The house is so well maintained and all the bedrooms and living area/kitchens/bathrooms are gorgeous. The pictures on the website were true to form. If I had to make one complaint it would be the fact that we had difficulty finding it when we arrived. That may be down to the fact that it was so late at night, we were all a little tired and emotional! I would definitely recommend to a friend and I'd like to think we would come back again at some point!

“A modern, clean cottage in a superb location, providing the perfect place to get away from it all.” We spent a week at Barley Corn House in August 2012. Having booked at short notice we were a little concerned that we might have to compromise on quality, but on arrival our fears proved unfounded. The house is situated on a magnificent, elevated site overlooking the ocean, providing incredible views as the light on the water changes throughout the day, culminating in fantastic sunsets. The beautiful, golden sand beach is a short walk away, and is usually completely deserted. Dunfanaghy and Falcarragh are a ten minute drive from the house. As a base to tour the North West Donegal region it is ideally situated, with surfing, horse riding, fishing and golf within easy reach. And, as a place to get away from it all, it is hard to beat. The house itself is really well equipped, and the spacious kitchen contains an extensive collection of cooking utensils. The owners were really helpful, friendly and accommodating. We would love to return soon.

“Lovely, cosy house in wonderful location” Our group consisted of 2 families and we stayed for one week in August. The house was finished and furnished with real character while at the same time being extremely comfortable. The beds were excellent and everyone slept soundly each night. The children really enjoyed the location and the nearby beach which can be easily reached with a short walk through 2 fields. We would thoroughly recommend the cottage and the owners Eileen and Seamus who were very friendly and helpful.
