“close to paradise” My wife and I spent 4 days at Mapenzi's this September. For us it has been an incerdible trip in kenya. Probably our stay at Mapenzi's has been the best part of uor journey there. Robert, Michael and Omari became our rafikis there. Robert is an excellent chef and better person. The villa was even better than pictures shown. Every day cleaned and the garden very good maintained. Now we are telling our friends to go there the next time we'll get the chance. Verey good job. Thank you agnes.

If you want to get away for a bit, follow the main road that runs alongside the beach to three Shopping Centers, a craft market and restaurants that can give the best in Nairobi a run for their money.
A marine paradise awaits the intrepid diver or snorkeler, with colourful coral reefs just 10 minutes from the shore in the Kisiti Marine Park and Mpunguti Marine National Reserve.
Kenya also boasts some of the best deep sea fishing found anywhere in the world with the chance to catch giant migratory marlin, sailfish and tuna. Unlike many other top fishing destinations, you do not have to wait to get the lures in the water as you are right on the action as soon as you leave port.
If you get tired of the beach, you can take a tour of Mombasa and the 16th century Portuguese Fort Jesus that was built to protect the harbour from Arab raiders.
Plus, just a 20-minute drive away and you’re at the Shimba Hills National Reserve where you can be awed by the 25-metre high Sheldrick Water Falls. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife that include elephants, leopards, antelopes, monkeys and giraffes.
