“Very Relaxing” Great location (close to both Chania and Rethimno) and very close to beautiful villages with taverns and cafes (Vamos, Vrisses, Gavalochori, Douliana). Great view from the pool and the veranda and very large private landscape beautifully decorated with local plans, trees and flowers The nearby beaches are not the best in Crete but they are OK. “Fabulous Villa” Villa Clio is a comfortable Cretan villa near Stavros in the akrotiri area of Crete. The location is perfect - 3 other lovely villas nearby. These were unoccupied the week we were there so we felt we had the whole place to ourselves along with all the cat neighbors. Lovely views from the terrace. The pool was fantastic. Extremely clean. Excellent rates. The owner made us feel very welcome - provided us with a welcome pack too. Nearby is the Sun Set restaurant recommended by the owner for good Greek food. It was wonderful. Wish we were still there.
