Costa de Prata has many historical places of interest combining mountainous landscapes with ocean views, sandy beaches and a myriad of rivers. Places of interest include Coimbra which is the 'Oxford' of Portugal, plenty of Golf clubs, the thermal spas of Luso, Roman ruins, Neoclassical towns, Fatima (Portugal's answer to Lourdes) and the Bucaco Imperial Palace.
