What a beautiful villa in such a beautiful location think I would have been happy just looking g at the views all day. The two restaurants in Los Ventorros were wonderful both served great food and very friendly. Comares 8s still a little way up the mountain but definitely worth it. Great Torross with hot melted chocolate for Breakfast. The villa suited our needs just a few small things I would change... bed pillows not comfy unanimous decision. Lounge pellet fire in very weird position so needed to change room around to feel the fire because the evenings were very cold. Wouldn't come to villa in colder months again because we couldn't use the pool so restricted us during the day so then had to travel with children to the beach. Felt it was too expensive with no pool use. Would we come back any other time yes definitely ideal for some downtime . Thank you check in etc ran very smoothly no issues. … see more

Beautiful villa

The villa is beautiful and the surroundings are so peaceful. Inside the villa the rooms are great sizes, the beds king sizes, spacey kitchen and living room with comfortable couches. We were a family of four. We paid for the pool heating and it was a nice temperature constantly. There are lots of fans as I assume you pay extra to use the air con, but these sufficed during October. The town of Comares 15 minutes away is also beautiful, we had a lovely meal there at Mirador de la Axarquía. Apart from that restaurant no one else spoke English so brush up on your Spanish, it is a very authentic part of Spain and so is the food. Unless you are willing to drive 45 + minutes to somewhere touristy like Nerja you are not finding many if any kid friendly meals/activities. But as I said the villa is 10/10 for tranquility and relaxing. If I were to suggest improvements it would be to update information in the house as there was confusion surrounding which WiFi to connect to. The bottom sheets of the beds were extremely worn and bobbled to the point of being uncomfortable. There was only one temporary hob working for the duration of our stay which we used to boil water when the kettle broke, toaster also broke. Maybe a bigger TV for the size of the villa/capacity as it was tiny. And the outside is big enough for a table tennis table? Or another small activity to provide entertainment for the size/capacity of the villa. The top of the pool tiles and inlets of the pool could do with a deep clean. But overall we had a beautiful tranquil holiday at this lovely spacious villa. … see more

Amazing holiday in a wonderful villa

The villa is lovely and the pool was brilliant! The directions we were provided with to get from the airport to villa were fantastic and easy to follow. The drive leading to the villa when you first arrive with a full car load was a bit of a struggle, but you’ve got to expect that going into the mountains and you soon get to used the hill after a couple of trips out! The guy who met us when we arrived was lovely, friendly and so helpful, as was the pool man. The villa had everything we needed and it was lovely having the outside tables for lunches and BBQ’s. The children as well as the adults had lots of fun in the pool which we paid to be heated and was like walking into a warm bath! There are several restaurants close by which offered fantastic food service and stunning views! (Table Mountain just a 2 mins drive from the villa, Restaurante El Molino de los Abuelos and Mirador de La Axarquia in Comares) We were all very sad to leave and hope to revisit one day. … see more

Fantastic Villa In Stunning Location!

Just returned from 2 incredible weeks at Villa Los Pinos - wow! Simply stunning property with everything you could ask for and more. We are a family of 4 (two younger children) and had just the best time. The villa is large and super comfortable with a master bedroom that opens up onto a balcony looking across one of the most beautiful views in the region. Until you are there you simply cannot imagine how beautiful it is. We visited in April and the heated pool was warm and large enough for all the family. Nothing was too much trouble for Jose the caretaker and the pool attendant came every few days to ensure the pool was spotless and the temperature perfect. I meant our children could play all day. The villa is about 10 minutes from the spectacular Andalucian hilltop village of Comares. It has everything you need - a well-stocked supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, and 'corner shop/tobacconist'. There are also some lovely restaurants nearby and in the village as well. Around 40 minutes away is the coast (and a very large shopping centre and supermarkets etc) and of course Malaga city is around 1 hour away. This is a very special villa in a stunning unspoilt corner of Spain. We will definitely be back! … see more

Fantastic Villa

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Malaga with my family and our three year old daughter. Words can’t explain how lovely this villa is - really well maintained - the owners have thought of everything for toddlers - stair gates, child locks, play area and a huge variety of toys available. Our little one had hours of fun playing. For the adults, there’s lots of areas to relax, unwind and take in the fantastic views. The villa is about 25 mins drive up the mountains from Trapiche but the beautiful village of Comares, where a decent supermarket for everyday essentials and a couple of restaurants can be found is only 2 minutes drive. John the greeter was very helpful and Samatha the owner was great to deal with. This was our first visit but certainly won’t be our last! … see more
