This chalet is located near La Plagne in Champagny (1250m).
Chalet Sapiniere is a large stylish chalet with bright fabrics and modern décor only about 400 metres away from the village of Champagny. Clean, rough, white plaster walls done in the local Champagny style are complemented by lots of beams and decorative carpentry. It has a smart new farmhouse kitchen where you can cook, if need be, and socialise at the same time. The spacious living and dining room has large picture windows and sliding doors onto the elevated terrace and balcony. There is a log fire in natural stone with plenty of comfortable seating as well as a few bean bags scattered around.
During the day, sunlight streams in through the windows and patio doors giving a tremendous feeling of light and space, yet if you close the curtains and light the fire the ambiance created is warm and cosy, perfect for your winter games nights. It has amazing facilities with it's 7 separate bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and large games room.
There are sunny south facing balconies on both floors with clear uninterrupted views across the meadows in front of the chalet and over to the twinkling lights of Courchevel. If you can brave the naked 20m dash across the snow you can relax in the sauna or on the sunbed which you share with Chalet Marmotte. Here, you can also join in the late night table tennis and pool competitions that usually go on well in to the night!
The cable-car is a short 400m walk so at the end of the day, you can leave your equipment in the hire shop ski store at the foot of the lift. You are then free to wander back without struggling in clompy boots trying to keep all your skis and poles together! …see more
