“Just excellent!” Sylvia and Greg were very friendly hosts!. Greg received us on time, spoke excellent English, and he showed us the huge appartment and all the amenities, and he also stayed more time pointing us on the map several attractions and recommendations where to go. The heating was just perfect, and we loved how tall the ceiling was! We noticed that is something typical from Hungarian architecture. It was all very clean and tidy, and we had a lot of channels on the TV!. The bathroom was very modern (it seemed as if it was just renovated!) and the shower just excellent. Everything worked out well! The hosts even left us a bottle of wine and water in the fridge, as well as some sweets! We loved our stay in Budapest, and we hope to be back one day in this lovely and interesting city! Carolina from argentina

“Great Place. Great Location.” We love this apartment because it is in a great neighborhood, well furnished, secure, has an elevator and is steps away from andrassy Blvd., the opera, operetta, grocery shopping, transit, pedestrian zone with a galore of restaurants and much more. It is especially suited for families with children since it has all necessary furniture and toys and lots of room. The owner is very friendly, fluent in English and other languages and very helpful. We have stayed there several times for many weeks. The last time was the month of april 2013. We highly recommend it.

“Just what we wanted” This is a really lovely spacious flat which feels fresh and bright and has lovely new bathrooms and kitchen and really comfortable beds et cetera. The owners speak excellent English, which really helped us, as not everyone in Budapest does. They also supplied a high chair for our youngest and were amazingly helpful in general. We had a really good time and would like to go back again in warmer weather. We loved it.

“Beautiful apartment, fantastic location, great value!” Having stayed away with friends in a number of European city locations over the last 10 years, I have a lot of experience in the great variety of space and locations on offer in city breaks. The Victoria Rooms in Budapest is quite possibly one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in! The living and sleeping accommodation is a fantastic size and could easily accommodate two families - there were 4 adults sharing for my trip and we had ample space and plenty of bathrooms to avoid any "getting ready" delays. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole apartment was beautifully presented. The location was perfect - approx. 30 mins from the airport and right outside the Budapest Food market and an easy 2 minute walk to one of the City Centre sightseeing bus tour stops. Thanks to the tasteful secondary glazing we had the convenient location without having to suffer the usual central location ambient noise! The apartment owner was available on arrival to take payment and to welcome us to the city and from there was then available only an email/phone call away to answer any Wifi set up or heating questions that cropped up (it was a chilly 2 degs at night so the central heating came in very handy!). Overall a wonderful stay in an extremely comfortable, bright, airy, spacious apartment. Only one word of caution - due to the two flights of stairs to and from the apartment it may not be a suitable setting for those travelling with very young children or those less steady on their feet - purely from a practical point of view only.
