Carvoeiro is a fishing village halfway along the Algarve coast, about 45 minutes from Faro Airport. Over the last 15 years, it has grown to be a sizeable holiday resort with a range of cosmopolitan bars, restaurants and shops. However, it has not lost its intrinsic charm and it has been developed to retain a traditional Algarvian style.
